Inspiration - when designing this styled shoot not only was the gorgeous venue Orchard Restaurant]⁠ a big part of our inspiration, but also this whimsical, colorful, Parisian feeling charger plate from ⁠. It became the base of the design and where we pulled colors and vibe from. ⁠

Work with your florist to plan for your ceremony florals and vessels to be re-used and/or re-purposed at your reception.

Happy Monday! Time to introduce myself again as I see so many new faces that have joined 🙋🏾‍♀️ !

I’m Saroj – the solopreneur behind Emani Events. This past year has been a rollercoaster, as we all know. But for me it’s given me the blessing of time – time to start what I’ve been dreaming of for many years – running my own events business! I love working directly with clients and vendors in this amazing industry of Events!

Some random fun facts about me:

1. Coffee? Nah! I'm tea obsessed, can not start my day without it. I’ll try any kind of tea, but my jam is an orange pekoe with milk and honey🐝.

2. Cooking is sometimes a form of relaxation for me and I am a Gordon Ramsay fan. As a self-proclaimed home chef 👩🏾‍🍳 and foodie, I love watching cooking shows and competitions, which helps me improve my own cooking game.

3. I love warm weather 🌞, as I get older I’m learning how much I appreciate the sunshine, the summer and warm spring and fall days.

4. I have an analytical mind, growing up I studied science, chemistry, math, physics, biology (micro biology and plant sciences🌿 are pretty darn cool), but somewhere along the way after a few years in university, I found my artistic and creative side again (I used to draw, paint and do a lot of photography when I was younger). That steered me towards careers in marketing and events and I’m looking forward to where my creativity continues to drive me!
