Snap Foto Club studio rentals are for anyone who needs a space to create stunning images or videos. Photographers, videographers, content creators, and the general public are all welcome to book time to create.

The natural beauty of our heritage building, the abundance of natural light, and gorgeous complimentary props and furniture make it easy to
create visual works of art.

Snap Foto Club studio is located downtown on historic and picturesque Stephen Avenue in Calgary AB. Situated in a loft style heritage building
built in 1892, SNAP Foto Club offers a unique photography studio for rent with limitless creative potential in a stunning setting.

We offer 2 options for studio rentals:

Little Studio:

A 23'X14' heritage room with exposed original brick, beautiful hardwood floors, a white wainscotting wall, and an abundance of natural light from 4 windows.
Little studio comes with minimalistic portrait studio props like posing boxes, stools, and basic chairs.

Big Studio:

A large 3500 sq. ft. heritage space with unique sandstone and brick walls, beautiful hardwood floors, stunning Romanesque windows, a salvaged vintage staircase, numerous skylights, and a lovely collection
of high class and vintage furniture and props to use in your shoots. Big Studio also includes access to our Selfie Loft which includes fun backdrops and props.

Both studios have the option to add light rentals, seamless paper backdrops in various colors, and painted canvas backdrops.

Branding:
Represent your brand in the most professional way. Branding sessions are tailored to the unique needs of you and your brand. Sessions are available for entrepreneurs, professionals, real estate agents, artists, and many more. Branding sessions start at $250.

Models:
Stack your comp card with up to date photos for your modelling portfolio. Sessions starting at $250 for 1 stunning look.

Family:
Family photo sessions meant to stand the test of time. Sessions available for immediate families or bring the whole extended crew. Sessions starting at $250 for 1 amazing look.

Couples:
Engagements, anniversaries, or a unique date night! Couples sessions starting at $250 for 1 exceptional look.

Bo***ir:
Unleash your inner goddess! Luxury bo***ir sessions meant to empower. Sessions starting at $250 for 1 fabulous look.

Christmas:
Like family sessions but with a festive twist, twinkling lights, and a little bit of magic. Sessions available for immediate families right through to extended families. Sessions starting at $125.

Santa:
Bring him wish lists, bring him cookies, but most importantly bring your holiday spirit! SNAP Foto Club Santa Days are unlike any other Santa session in Calgary. Magical Santa sessions start at $125.

We have heard from a lot of photographers that AI images are an evolution of technology and you better get with the times or risk being left behind.

We don't agree.

AI images are not an evolution, they are a complete revolution. This technology is not like going from film cameras to digital cameras, it is completely changing the game. Some photographers embrace the technology and want to be at the fore front of using it to its fullest potential. We have no interest in this way of doing things, once the process of photography turns to sitting at a desk and writing prompts, we will gracefully bow out. The process of creativity, the humanity, and the authenticity is what keeps us going, and once these things fall out of fashion, we will happily move onto something else.

Natural light photographers take a lot of flak from studio photographers for not using artificial light, but, it goes both ways.

Too many times we see studio photographers cover huge windows offering beautiful and soft natural light. We say STOP!. Your tiny pizza sized modifier is no match for a huge window.

The first step in lighting your subject is assessing the currently available light.

Our approach has always been a hybrid approach of natural light and artficial light because it's the most versatile, and will yield beautiful light in all circumstances.

That being said, if you're still relying solely on natural light, you're going to end up in trouble.
