S&R were one of my favourite coordination couples so far this year. They thought of every detail for their guests, and created such a beautiful atmosphere for their French lavender café inspired day. 🪻💜

This day, even in black & white (& some film) is still breathtaking. This ceremony was hosted on the bride’s family property, up on the hill. We carted guests up in wagons & offered parasols & champagne to help combat one of the hottest days of the summer. 🥂✨

The details of this design started with a vibe - movement in black & white (& flash!). Eventually bows & lamps became the other design detail focal points. And slowly the design was starting to take shape!

Watching the elements come off the page and become reality will always be one of my favourite moments during a wedding day. No detail is too small or insignificant. It’s always chosen with care & the utmost attention to what you love & what resonates with you as a couple.

Tomorrow we’re headed to Canmore to view a new venue for their open house. We love working in new venues & spaces (even prefer building them out from scratch - tented estate wedding anyone???).

Then tonight, I’m headlining a masterclass for intermediate and advanced classical pianists in the city. If you didn’t already know, my background and degree is in classical piano, and have taught for nearly 16 years. It was one of the first businesses I founded and ran for 10 of those years. It’ll be such a treat to listen to and adjudicate such talented up and coming musicians tonight. 🎵🤍
