My husband certainly is one (and yes, I am too 😂)

One of my favourite things about weddings is that you can make it into whatever you want. Pinterest is filled with all sorts of niche ideas that tie into your interests! We had small amounts of Harry Potter integrated throughout our wedding, including this awesome photo! 📸

We brought a copy of the Deathly Hallows and our wands to our wedding so our photographer could capture these iconic detail photos!

🍰 vs. 🧁 Do you prefer cupcakes or cake at a wedding?!

Pro tip: If you pick a cake for your wedding day, who is cutting it? If you're getting married at one of those all-inclusive venues then typically the kitchen will cut it for you - but what about a DIY wedding?

Sometimes the caterers will cut it, sometimes the bartenders will help, or sometimes it's me (your coordinator!).

Alternatively, you can pick cupcakes and no cutting is required. But cupcakes beg the question - did you want to have a cake cutting? If so, you can do a little cake for cutting only and the bride and groom bring it home, or you can have a cupcake cutting!🧁

Just remember - there are no wrong choices since it's YOUR wedding day! Your coordinator will make sure you have thought it all through so don't worry 🥰

Congratulations! You are finally engaged after dropping all of those "subtle" hints you dropped to your partner. You cannot stop looking at your gorgeous ring and it feels surreal. You are engaged. You have a FIANCE!

You call the family to let them know and everyone is ALREADY asking if you've picked a date.... SLOWWW DOWN PEOPLE! It has hardly sunk in yet and here everyone is asking for details?! Time to get some planning done, but where to start?

Don't worry, I've been there and get it. When I got engaged I got caught up in Pinterest, and daydreaming about what the big day before doing some super important steps. Learn from my mistakes and follow my super simple first steps list before planning to make your life so much easier!

Hi 👋

I'm Bree, the owner of Bearmora Events 🤍 I figured it was time to finally invest in this page and introduce myself!

I have been obsessed with weddings since I was a little girl. As a kid I would dress up in my play wedding dress all the time (despite never having actually BEEN to a wedding!). This obsession transferred to a love of event planning throughout my teens, and when I was 18 years old I became an assistant Wedding Coordinator to . My mentor taught me everything I know during the years I was her assistant, and eventually I became a lead planner with Sprightly.

In 2021 graduated university and moved to Calgary. Once settled here, I decided to start Bearmora Events. I was a 2023 bride (and arguably bridezilla!) because I knew how important it was to think of every detail.

Now I am living my dream - making brides dreams come true and coordinating the perfect day for all of my clients.
