We are serving a NEW Filipino fusion inspired menu, catering to all diets, including gluten free, vegan/vegetarian and pro-protein diets. 📢 **Koi Open Mic Announcement** 🎤

Hey Koi Open Mic family,

After much consideration, Jonny, Doug & Erin have decided to take a pause on the open mic nights at Best of Kin. Life has gotten busy for all of us—both personally and professionally—and we want to make sure we're able to bring the best energy and experience to every event. Lately, we haven't been able to give it the time and focus it truly deserves.

We want to send a huge THANK YOU to Best of Kin Brewery for being such an incredible venue and creating such an amazing atmosphere. You've been wonderful people to work with, and we’re so grateful.

We'll miss the incredible community we've built together, sharing space, witnessing such incredible local talent, but rest assured, we’ll be back—somewhere, sometime! Until then, stay creative and keep supporting local establishments and art! 🎶🎨

Coming to the stage from rock, folk and theatre, AJ Baragar is rising through the Alberta music scene as a force to be reckoned with. From his beginnings in thrash metal, he found his passion for writing music which he carried through university and beyond. With his melody-focused indie rock sound, you'll be dancing, weeping, and drowning in manic euphoria all in the same breath.

We are forever grateful to have witnessed the rise of so many talented people. WE'RE GOING STRAW-LESS! February 1st we will no longer be using straws in our drinks. Did you know how long it takes for a plastic straw to break down? 200 years! Then get this ... 500 million straws are used DAILY (that fills 125 school buses with straws , EVERYDAY!!) We know our capacity is 51 but that's 51 less people out of 500 million contributing to one of the most environmentally unfriendly human inventions, and we love anyway we can help. Little space, big heart ♥️

LIVE MUSIC IS COMING BACK TO KOI! CHECK OUR EVENTS PAGE FOR MORE INFORMATION! KITCHEN HOURS MON-SAT 4-9PM

Here are the ways that we are ensuring our guests health and safety within our establishment:

1. All staff members will be wearing masks when approaching tables and guests for service, preparing drinks and food, and extreme hand washing measures will be put in place. (We do not think that using gloves will be necessary, as we would have to change them ALL DAY LONG)

2. Hand sanitizer will be provided upon entry, in the bathrooms, and upon request.

3. Door handles, light switches, and all surfaces will be wiped and disinfected before and after each guest and periodically throughout the shift.

4. Bathrooms will be completely disinfected after each guest, and wipes will be provided within the bathroom to guests for their own comfort. They are single person washrooms, so clearly only one guest allowed in the bathroom at one time.

5. Debit/credit machines will be wiped and disinfected before and after each use.

6. Social distancing measures will be regulated and enforced, guests are not to approach any staff members within 2 meters unless necessary.

7. Reminder signs and Covid-19 information posters will be posted throughout the establishment

8. Please Wait to be Seated sign will be hung and enforced upon entry. No one is to sit unless a staff member has greeted you, and assigned a table to ensure it is properly disinfected.

9. Tables will be spaced apart at least 6ft to ensure distancing measures are within protocol and safety.

If there is anything that YOU feel is missing from this list that you would like to see enforced, please feel free to send us a message so we can make sure that you, the GUEST, feel as safe as possible coming in to dine.
