The song was a v1 that i was working on when I went out for a social night to see a Vnssa, Max Styler and John Summit. During JS set the producers of the show decided they wanted a crowd on stage behind JS and began allowing select people onstage from an access point that happened to be 5 feet from myself and friends. The word spread amongst the venue of 2 city blocks in about 7 seconds and chaos ensued. The "thot" like behavoir that followed amused me in a tragic way and the term dancefloor thots enters the mind. Went with Floor Thoughts leaving others to interpret in their own potentially less devious ways! 😈😂

A gritty bass driven techno jam that came to life in a Winnipeg MB hotel room. Found a vocal sample on the of the internet, chopped it up, turned it upside down a bit, sliced it to Midi and off we went. Loose stringed bass guitar FTW. Simple production but the dark mood of the result is anything but. Less sometimes is truly more.

I'll never forget my father watching The Empire Strikes Back on TV. I was barely old enough to walk but the allure and nostalgia of Starwars hooked me early. When Disney released "The Mandalorian," the world fell in love with baby Yoda (Grogu), me however, I was more enamoured with the IG assassin droid previously only ever shown in background scenes of The Empire Strikes Back, video games & books as a somewhat Easter egg character (yeah, I'm that nerd). A humorous exchange between this character and show lead got the creative juices flowing. I sampled some snippets and edited them obnoxiously in hopes Disney doesn't sue me! This track is special to me behind the scenes, it feels like I was truly learning to walk in my own and understand the role of a producer from writing to label pitching to signing.
