Our Story

LimeLighter is based on a passion to see individuals thrive in their creative element. While doing so, we want others to join in to experience the arts and be inspired to live out what they love. When you attend a LimeLighter event you will encounter a mix of artistic expressions and enjoy a positive community experience. Since 2012, we have hosted events featuring local artists showcasing art, live music, spoken word poetry, and dance. LimeLighter has provided a variety of workshops as well.

In 2017, LimeLighter partnered with Loft 112 to bring back The People’s Poetry Festival; an annual festival to celebrate the expression of poetry and art with the people in Calgary.
