My valentine and I are throwing a Pairing Party featuring Bloom Culture, his award-winning, absolute banger, barrel aged sours and a bunch of knock-your-socks-off cheese pairings! We haven’t come together to share our crafts in the same public event before, so this is going to be FUN! 👫🏼

We’re throwing a pairing party! Introducing the first installment of Very Fine Things, a recurring series of pairing and tasting events, we’re hosting in collaboration with some of Calgary’s most dope and tastiest creators and brands.
To kick it off, we’re bringing in Brie & Banquet, Calgary’s first cheese and charcuterie focused, grazing caterer. Brie and Banquet specializes in high aesthetics, luxury experience, and damn delicious bites.
For this event we’re focused on exploring the limits of fermented barley and cultured milk; beer and cheese! We’ll besampling 5 beers (and mayyyybe a bonus or two) specially paired with 10+ cheeses, along with a variety of accompaniments; crackers, butters, breads, and spreads. Brie & Banquet is bringing the whole farm, the cheese will be stacked high and piled pretty, it’s an all you can cheese affair. Expect to learn a little, and taste a lot!
Katie, the founder of Brie & Banquet is a certified cheese professional, a sommelier, and a master of all things delicious. Katie will be joining Blake, one of the Cold Garden founders, and head of the tasty liquid’s creation department at CG, to host the evening.
