Our Story

The Gateway is a prime destination for SAIT students and guests to eat, drink and see their favorite live acts perform. Hosting both large and small scale events, The Gateway was most recently nominated for a WCMA and in the past was regularly nominated by FFWD Weekly’s ‘Best of Calgary’ in the category of ‘Best Concert Venue, 500+’. Concert tickets are available at The Gateway, SAITSA Resource Centre (MC107), Sloth Records & Ticketmaster - http://bit.ly/gatewayTM. The Gateway is Best Bar None Accredited 2018 placing 1st place in the post-secondary campus bar category. Our events are open to all SAIT Students, Staff, Faculty, Alumni, members and guests.
