MacDonald's Miniature Horses

This is an exciting venture for me and I want to share it with you! Having been born and raised on a farm, I am a country man at heart. Although my family and I have lived in Calgary for a substantial part of my life, my passion for the country life and animals has held strong. With my four children grown and moved on with their families and all my grandbabies and great grandbabies, I have time to

pursue my dream of sharing my love for horses with others. In 2003 I purchased my first miniature horse named Trucker. then came Windy, Rocky, Tuffy, Lexie, Smurf and Prince. In addition I acquired a heritage buggie,parade wagon, carriage, chariot, hay wagon and a sleigh. With a growing passion to share my feverish love for horses I started driving in parades. For the past several years I have rode in the Calgary Stampede Parade, Airdrie Parade, Strathmore Parade, Okotoks Parade and the Longview Parade, Carbon Parade, Acme Parade, Standard Parade, Vulcan Parade and Rockyford Parade. I have attended the Airdrie Pro-Rodeo for the last 8 years and the Calgary Police Association Rodeo for the last 6 years. I have actively represented The Missing Childrens Society, The Make A Wish Foundation, Kids Cancer Society, Boothill Gallery representing Margie and Bernie Brown and Calgary Police Association. In addition to driving in Parades I have often made visits to the Seniors Lodges, Church Functions, Scouts organizations, Birthday Parties, Theme Parties, Weddings, Anniversaries and multiple BBQ's and Breakfasts. Over the years the demand for the presence of my miniature horses has grown. We have become a familiar face to all who attend all these popular functions and parties. With so many inquiries as to how to obtain us and the growing demand, it became increasingly clear to me that I could further pursue my dreams and develop a business while doing what I love the most - sharing my miniature horses and my love for them.
