Wedding Timeline Tips!

1) Leave enough time for photography. If you want to capture pictures of your extended family, and certain guests, make sure you leave enough time for this! Wrangling guests for group photos always takes longer than you think!

2) Be mindful of guest logistics. If your guests are needing to walk or drive between ceremony and reception venues, make sure you allocate enough time for travel.
.
3) Add buffer time. Because little things ALWAYS come up, it's smart to add 15 mins or so to each timeline task for your wedding day.
.
4) Don't let your guests go hungry. If there is a long break between the ceremony and dinner, make sure to provide your guests with hors d'oeuvres.
.
5) Maximize your timeline with a first look. Having photos of the two of you out of the way prior to the ceremony, helps eliminates the need for a long wait between ceremony and dinner. It also means more time for you to enjoy cocktail hour with your guests!
6) Talk to your photographer. Your photographer can help you determine how much time you should allocate for specific photos, so that you can maximise the time you have hired them for.

7) And finally, hire a wedding planner to assist with managing your day. We can work with your photographer and other vendors to make sure you are getting the most out of your day, not rushing, and have time to actually enjoy the moment!
