Meet the newest Evanescents team member, Alisa.

Well versed in all aspects and types of events, extremely organized, creative, outspoken, eager to learn and an all hands on deck team player. Side note, she is an incredible baker, is all about a good time, and I did her wedding 10 years ago!

I’m so happy to have her on board assisting in decor design, set ups, and day of coordination, especially with how much Evanescents has grown over the last couple of years.

If you see her on site please make sure to introduce yourself and help me give her a warm welcome

On a high from today’s charity luncheon and fashion show by for
~Rocky Mountain High~

A heartfelt charity organization in collaboration with that supports pregnant women on the verge of homelessness. They provide interim housing and support services to ensure mother and child are in a safe and positive environment.

What an incredible group of executive women and huge community of leaders, volunteers, and local businesses that contributed to this event donating their services, products and expertise. We were lucky enough to have the best MC again always capturing the room and making us crack up and for spearheading the team of EWI and creating so many connections for this lunch to come to life. To the fabulous fashion vendors who showcased their clothes, you banged it out of the park with this years theme.

Thank you for trusting me with this special event to do not only the makeup for the models, but planning and event management. It was a beautiful day for a beautiful cause, surrounded by so many warm & beautiful women.

Memories~The Mom-trepreneur version.

A 7 year flashback to that one time when two friends who were also business partners found out a day apart that they were pregnant, and due, a day apart. Fast forward nine months when we had them 3 weeks early, and still only a day apart!!

This was our life 5 weeks in with new babies and wedding season on the horizon. Both of us had some complications and our first wedding back (which would be next weekend) was the first day I was cleared to drive. We both worked the wedding and tagged each-other in and out through the day, pumping milk in the bathroom 😂🤣

Our kids are still buddies, and we still laugh about how crazy our lives were at that time, but as business owners and moms you just do it as it comes.

Maybe all these years of hauling my little one with me is the reason she wants to be a wedding planner and makeup artist “just like mom” when she grows up. She is already asking when she can come help me for a wedding 💕

Bride to-be turned friend who turned 50…. And her bridal makeup trial turned birthday bash look 👀

That about sums up how up close and personal my wedding planning journey is with my clients. I not only design their day, I’m with them every step of the way, making decisions, learning one another’s unique quirks, managing stressful situations and creating an environment of mutual trust and reliance.

One added bonus of being not only a wedding planner, but a makeup artist as well means sometimes I get to combine my two passions for a beauty like this.

I can’t wait for these fall nuptials and I would have to say that 50 must be the new 40 because hot damn you look so good!

Reflecting on all I have learned throughout these years of an ever changing industry.

Growing through knowledge, experiences, and years of witnessing the variations of love.

Grateful for the trust, support and opportunities this community has provided for me.

Creating memories, being present for moments and designing the days where love stories unfold…

This is where I quietly sit, I watch the birds, a sip my tea, and I plan how the season will flow. I’m excited for this season ahead. I have a few 2025 dates left available but currently booking into fall 2026 🤍
