Nothing makes us feel more alive than sharing a meal on a warm summer night, with new friends, old friends and those in between. In the Field celebrates tradition, artisanship and community while also showcasing some of Alberta’s finest creators. We are incredibly excited to share this special edition of the Supper Club Series this summer. Join us in the field for an experiential culinary and music event on August 9, 2024 hosted at Rafter H Ranch in Ponoka, AB.

Kickstart Motorcycle Show is back June 14-16 at The Pioneer. We’re so excited to host them again for a weekend of incredible bikes, drinks, eats and laughs.

If you don’t know, the Kickstart Show is a motorcycle event celebrating builders who have built, fabricated, restored or modified motorcycles with their own two hands! The event showcases builders from all levels with all styles of bikes, vintage and modern. Hosted by this is the teams 9th year and counting hosting this event.

Our bar is truly the centrepiece to our space - we pulled inspiration from all the past uses of this space or our decor. From a sporting goods store, to art gallery, the Calgary Milling Company (which inspired the name of our bar), to the iconic Pioneer Meat Market (where we get our name), this building has lived many lives and undergone many transformations. We take a lot of pride in continuing the tradition of welcoming Calgarians in this space.

- IRIS EVENT [APRIL 20TH]
In support of Emma House a local organization who provides a safe haven through supportive transitional housing for expectant mothers experiencing or at risk of homelessness. IRIS presents an evening of renewal, celebration and laughter with some of the city’s greatest talent and featuring a performance by Canadian TV personality and Comedian Jessi Cruickshank.

Returning for another IN THE ROUND, one of our favoruties, Breadmaker is back featuring artists: BLSNG, Jacob Weil, Jillian Lake, Noah Derksen, and Michelle Ku.

Supporting Providence Kids, who specialize in programming for young children. Operating in six preschools in Calgary for children with delays and disabilities, Providence serves 800 children and their families in our communities. Their Spring Benefit is sure to be a fun night and featuring a special live performance from Chad Brownlee

Last night we held a corporate event with a fire side chat.
It was an absolutely pleasure working with this group and seeing the way they tailored our space to their needs.
We loved the way they mixed theatre style seating with standing cocktail tables.
We’re noticing this to be a popular trend for corporate events.
A highlight was a great performance by the talented pianist Jerry!
