After Jen + Graham said their I-do's, they gathered around the patio for a group photo. After the group photo, they surprised their guests by doing their first dance.

We love when couples shake it up. There are no rules. You don't need to follow a flow and timeline that's from generations ago. Do what makes sense to you and have fun with it!!

we did it 🥹

A lot of long hours, hard work, and in all honesty...a lot of fun. We made it to our first big wedding!

We made 26 harvest tables, went through a countless amount of paint, cleaned up cobwebs and so many dead bugs, and polished up every area we could. We couldn't have done it alone (our families were a huge help)! It was all worth it to see the look on Jen + Graham's face when they saw the place. There's still things that we 'want' to do. And in time, it'll all get done. Thankfully, the space is great now and will only get better and better.

Now that everything is ready, we're looking forward to enjoying all of the weddings we are hosting this year. With each event we will adjust and improve.

The feedback from the wedding was better than we could have ever thought. We can't take all of the credit. The couple hired an incredible team who made the day go off without a hitch!

Stay tuned for more from the wedding. It's full of inspiration!

Thank you to everyone for your support since we bought this space. We appreciate every one of you!

LET'S TALK TABLES

We are so excited to share that the harvest tables are almost done and will 100% be ready before our first big wedding on July 6th.

In the professional photos where the tables are set, the tops weren't white washed yet. In the last photo you can see how they look with the white washed tops. It's just enough to take away that yellow tone and not compete with the other wood tones in the barn.

{How amazing is the table setting that did here?! Side note: real candles are NOT permitted. This was just for the photos and then were blown out. We have seen so many fake candles (see the tea lights also pictured) that look amazing though!}. And shout out to for the stunning florals for the bud vases.

All of the guest tables (23) will have white folding legs, and the head tables (2) will have nice wooden legs. You can't see the legs on the guest tables with the chairs there. However, on the head tables you will see the legs so we wanted to make sure they looked nice! Photos to follow.

📏The tables are 8feet long and a standard banquet table width of 30". Keep this in mind when you're picking your table settings and dinner style.

Our goal was to provide free, beautiful tables to seat 200 guests. It was important to us that they look beautiful so that couples can save money by not having to linen them if they don't want to.

We raised $250 for the shelter with the Ma's and Paw's charity photos.

Huge thanks to the clients, our photographer Telly of Owl&Oak (.and.oak on IG) and to Sara of Black Saddle Barn who saved us in a last minute pivot for a backup rain plan.

This ad keeps coming up on our feed and I have to say, I'm almost sold. This isn't our barn but it is similar. We've mentioned to a few couples that draping like this would be beautiful but it was hard to picture.

This would tone down the rustic vibes, and level it up to make it more elegant.

I'm not sure it's something we would add to be there all the time, because each person's wedding vision is so different. BUT, I'm excited to see what couples do this!
