Hi folks!! Just a bit of bragging to do!
For those of you getting some of our honey during the last pop-up……I am happy to inform you that you purchased “Award Winning Honey” as I entered the The Royal Agricultural Winter Fair in Toronto this past week. I took a 3rd place in the “Golden” category (golden thanks to all that goldenrod I have been telling you all about).
Attached you will see pictures of my honey from over a month ago as I chose the perfect batch for competition. It took over a month to clear it up, remove all the bubbles and you will see my final entry in the pic with the Royal stickers on them. Honestly, next year I will have to start preparing earlier as the “Honey competition” is as much a beauty pageant as it is for color/taste/smell etc.
Entering this thing, I was hoping for a “participation” ribbon kind of like the one I always got as a kid playing hockey lol. Needless to say I am ecstatic about the bronze lol.
And don’t worry……I will not raise the price of the honey come Xmas and will only bore you with bee and honey talk for the few minutes it takes for you to pick up your purchases. Unlike my wife and daughter who hear it every day and are about to build me a shed to live in out back😜

We are doing a Little Louie’s Pop-up this coming Wednesday, Oct. 23rd. Our pick up times will be from 11:30am to 6:00pm.

We will be doing our burgers/fries/shakes etc like the old days at the joint.
Also, scroll past the burger menu for some additional catering items like raw burgers for the home grill, honey from our apiary and more.

If you are new to our catering kitchen (which is where you will pick up your items) we are located at 175 Holiday Inn drive in Hespeler, based out of Heritage College. There is a doorbell on the wall to the left of our door. There is a Lily Ruth sign on our door. Our lot is a bit of a mess due to the new construction but is easily accessible.

There is an hour left to go with this Thanksgiving popup.
I had enough sauce, cheese and noodles to make three more large lasagnas!!

UPDATE!!
I have some stuff left!!!!!!

Ok folks, after having packaged a ridiculous amount of turkeys, tv dinners, honey, soups, cookies and more, I now have a better idea as to what we have in excess of all your orders.

So…..for any of you last minute folks……

I have 18 portions of turkey, veggies, potatoes and gravy up for grabs. Unfortunately I have no more of Rachelle’s incredible stuffing.

I have 1 of them large lasagnas and 2 of the smaller ones.

We have soup left and Rachelle has one dozen each of her cookies up for grabs.

I have a ridiculous amount of honey lol so order all you want!!

First come first serve!!

Just a little Thanksgiving Menu update!!

We will be creating some great items (including a full Thanksgiving feast) for you to pick up and pretend that you put a lot of time in the kitchen preparing dinner for your family or guests!!😉
Pick up times will be Friday, October 11th from 10am-3pm and Saturday, October 12th from 9am-noon

Classic Turkey Dinner (minimum 6 portions)
$25 per person….includes:
Chef Steven’s cidre brined turkey (sliced white and dark meat)
Scalloped potatoes
Fresh herb and chestnut stuffing
Cranberry sauce
Gravy
Fresh roasted vegetables

We also create our Turkey dinner in a TV-dinner version! $14.50 each, includes:

Sliced Turkey, gravy, scalloped potato, roasted root veggies, bun/butter, cranberry sauce

We have some other great items (including honey from our apiary!!) for you to enjoy straight away, or stock the freezer for a quick and great meal.

HONEY!!
This year has been incredible with chef Steven harvesting nearly 1200lbs of honey from our very own apiary!!
This honey will be from our fall harvest (the 150lbs of spring honey as well as the 150lbs of summer honey are all sold out unfortunately). But……chef Steven thinks that the fall honey is the best so lucky you!! A significant portion of the yield has been produced from goldenrod giving this honey a very distinct and bold flavor!!

Chef Steven also creates “Hot Honey”. A sweet and spicy condiment to drizzle on wings, pizza and the likes.

As mentioned, I sourced some new great sq**rt bottles for the hot honey. These will be 250ml bottles and cost $14. Our hot honey is made from our own honey made by our bees and infused with some great hot peppers from our garden.
