3 tips to nail your grad photo session:

1. Plan ahead. Usually your grads date is set in stone, so in order to optimize your grads hair makeup and gorgeous dress book early to ensure your date is available!

2. Include family and friends. The more the merrier, don’t forget extended family! This is a time to celebrate.

3. Incorporate your hobbies. Customize your grad’s photo session and highlight their unique personality by incorporating some of their hobbies. Chat with your photographer for ideas on how to do this!

Theres a lot out there about what *to do*

So let me share with you the scoop on what *NOT to do*

because its just as important if not more to ensure you make the most of your photo session.

1. Change your look drastically. I always tell ladies to keep up their usual beauty routine. No skin peels or abrasive facials as this can leave your skin irritated which may impact how makeup sits on your face. Although I am happy to touch things up in photoshop, its best to avoid it so you feel the most comfortable and confident!

2. Wait to plan your wardrobe. This is the #1 stressor most people feel before their session, leaving it to the last minute wont help, trust me! Wardrobe is so so important and if youre my client you dont have to worry about this as I offer in-home wardrobe styling for all of my clients so that you can feel confident and cohesive on the day of the session.

3. Don’t stress about the weather. If your shoot is scheduled to be outside ensure you and your photographer have a plan in place incase the weather changes.
