Le groupe La Patente ont quant à eux su faire brasser la salle avec des chansons remplies d'énergie.

Ode à l'Acadie, mon pays.

L' Acadie manque aujourd'hui d'un territoire défini. Mais spas à cause de ça qui faut qu'à passe à l'oublie. S'pas parce qu'elle est pas indiquée sur nos cartes, qu'à prend moins de place dans nos esprits.

Parce que j'vas être honnête, j'la ressent partout où j'laisse ma marque.

L'Acadie, c'est la preuve de rester fidèle à ce qu'on est. Un peuple qui s'est débattu longtemps pour pouvoir continuer à chanter.

Le peuple qui brandit haut et fier, le bleu blanc rouge étoilé.

Un peuple ancré dans ses racines. Un peuple qui, malgré ses arbres bruler, continue à répendre des pousses un peu partout où sa culture ose voyager.

L'Acadie, c'est la plus belle métaphore du monde.

Celle de la liberté.

Parce que tu peux voler nos terres, bruler nos maisons et nous exiler aux quatre coins du monde. Mais la flamme, elle, brulera encore.

Et elle continue de bruler grâce à ceux et celles qui la chante haut et fort. Grâce à nos musiciens p*s nos racompteurs. Dans son architecture et sa grandeur.

C'est Grace à ces p'tit brins d'éternels, que son drapeau flotte encore dans nos ciels.

Parceque l'Acadie, c'est plus qu'un endroit. C'est plus qu'une culture. C'est plus qu'un patois.

C'est la flammèche qui s'instille dans l'âme de chaques Acadiens.

Joyeux quinzoo. ⭐️ 🔵⚪️🔴

Ode to Yellow – Poem by Pascal Pictou

Lyrics:

Yellow forgives and forgets.
Alcamizes my pain and all my regrets.
Slows down my hearbeat and puts it to rest.
Knowing you are not too far.

For we share the same stars at night,
And when I look up, I truly feel it all.
The wonders and the light.
The rising and the fall.
It is all yellow and oh, so bright.

And within the darkness of my soul lies the most beautiful flame.
And Id be lying to you If I said a part of it didnt carry your name.
As I lay in the abyss, I can finally feel the fire.
Streaking in the night sky for what feels like eternities and sunflowers.
Bright and yellow it eats away my pain. Eases my mended heart and slowly pollinates the blood of my veins.

But as I watch the nights slowly fade away, leaving room to sunrises of the most beautiful haze,
I realise that Ill never truly get to escape the warmth of your grace.
Even If I tried my very best, your love is forever emcrypted in my chest.
Youre the poison to my sickness, but youre also the cure.
The poison ivy but also the berries that taste, oh so pure.

When I look at you, I see eyes that could level my soul.
Gently caress away my fears and the yellow of it all.
For I no longer seek you outside,
I've learned to find you within.
Because I've finally found you inside the yellow of my burning skin.
