🍀🇮🇪🎶 Get Ready to Shamrock-in' with Delhi2Dublin! 🎶🇮🇪🍀

Mark your calendars, Camrose! On Tuesday, March 17th, the Jeanne & Peter Lougheed Performing Arts Centre is throwing a party to celebrate a massive milestone: Delhi2Dublin's 20th Anniversary Tour!

And here's a fun fact that makes this even more special: their actual anniversary is on St. Patrick's Day! How lucky are we to celebrate two decades of their incredible music on the very day it all began?! 🥳

For nearly two decades, Delhi2Dublin has been igniting dance floors worldwide with their pioneering "Subcontinental Pop" – a high-energy, genre-defying blend of Bhangra, electronic, hip-hop, reggae, and Celtic influences. From Glastonbury to Burning Man, they've earned a reputation for delivering "90 minutes of freebasing joy" at every show! Now, with new music on the horizon and fresh energy, they're ready to remind us why they've remained at the top of the global bass music scene.

This "shamrock-in'" good time is proudly part of our BrokerLink Presentation Series and is show sponsored by Country Garden Liquor Store & Battle River Beer Co.

Looking to have an absolutely unforgettable time? Don't miss this chance to celebrate with Delhi2Dublin on their 20th anniversary! It's going to be a vibrant, energetic, and joyous night you won't want to miss.

William Shakespeare's A Midsummer Night's Dream is one of his most beloved comedies, packed with cheeky fun, delightful mischief, and hilarious high jinks! Follow four star-crossed lovers and a troupe of amateur actors who stumble into a mystical forest. Here, they encounter mischievous fairies and a trickster named Puck, who weaves a tangled web of love potions and comical chaos!

Ballet Jörgen brings this classic tale to life with an original ballet version that pays tribute to Canada’s North! Imagine the magic of our own woodland and tundra landscapes, brought to the stage with whimsical creatures like moose, beavers, bears, and squirrels. ✨ Be Part of the Laughter & Help Create Something New! ✨

Get ready for an evening unlike any other! The Jeanne & Peter Lougheed Performing Arts Centre is thrilled to present "The Joy" with Brendan McLeod – a hilarious, insightful, and incredibly unique comedy that places YOU right in the middle of a live creative process!

Catch this special presentation on October 8, 9, 10, or 11 at 7:00 PM and become an integral part of its journey!

In "The Joy," JUNO-nominated musician and acclaimed theatre creator Brendan McLeod shares his unexpected love affair with data and his newborn daughter’s wonderfully diverse reactions to the first 1000 songs of her life. Imagine: How does a baby react to Whitney Houston for the first time? What about Metallica or Bach? This funny, moving storytelling show is a witty exploration of how our bodies process music, how cultures communicate, and even how James Brown learned to dance. Ultimately, it’s a heartfelt tribute to the importance of music and family – all the things we feel when we truly listen.

This is your exclusive chance to be an active part of the workshop process! After each performance, you’ll have the opportunity to engage in a talkback with Brendan, sharing your feedback on what you liked, what resonated, and what you think. Your input will directly shape the future of “The Joy”!

It’s the ultimate comedy for music lovers, data nerds, parents, anyone who was a kid, and anyone who loves to be part of and help shape something new and exciting!
