Camrose's premiere destination for live performances, dedicated to inspiring a deep appreciation for the arts and enriching our community through exceptional cultural experiences. Built within a collaborative framework

Jeanne & Peter Lougheed Performing Arts Centre is a unique performing arts venue located on the beautiful, historic University of Albertaโ€™sโ€™ Augustana Campus in the heart of the pr

ovince. It was conceived of as a performance space to celebrate our cultural achievements and provide access to the performing arts for the community. The overall design for the building included a great deal of attention not only to what the community was envisioning for the space but also towards sustainability for the future. The theatre is home to the largest integrated photovoltaic array,(solar panels), which blanket the entire 70โ€™fly-tower, including the North face, and is the first theatre in North America to use entirely LED lighting, including the stage lights, on the interior and exterior of the building. For details about other green features of the building, click here. Built to accommodate performances and events; big or small

The Cargill Theatre seats 580 on two sloped floors, yet retains an intimacy which will provide audiences with a closer connection to the artist and provide the artist an opportunity to connect on a deeper level with the audience. The sound, lighting and projection systems are state of the art and will provide every visitor, in every seat a memorable live performance experience

The Mayer Family Community Hall provides alternative space for many different kinds of events. The hall, which also boasts a sprung floor, can be configured to accommodate between 135 and 200 people seated, either at tables or theatre style. It can be used for smaller scale performances, receptions, conferences, or rehearsals. This is a space which can be rented and configured to suit any need! Built for the future

The theatre is a proud declaration of who the city is today and who they want to be moving into the future.

Get Ready for AV & The Inner City! ๐ŸŽถ Fun Facts You Need to Know!

We are so excited to welcome AV & The Inner City to Camrose on August 13th as part of our Strada Coffee Co & Artisan Bakery Summer Series! This incredible all-female, Edmonton-based group is a true powerhouse, and we've got some fun facts to get you even more pumped for their show:

DID YOU KNOW?!
AV & The Inner City started with free "porch concerts" during the pandemic, bringing joy (and music!) to their Edmonton neighborhood when it was needed most! ๐Ÿ

Led by multi-award-winning soul/blues artist AV, this group is a true reflection of Canada's incredible musical diversity.

They've rocked major stages like the Calgary Folk Festival, where a former Nickelodeon promoter said they "could have closed the Main Stage any night!" Talk about a compliment! ๐Ÿ”ฅ

Their concerts are packed with emotional depth, powerhouse vocals, amazing personal stories, and that classic, self-deprecating Canadian humour we all love.

Their first single has over 20,000 Spotify streams โ€“ they're taking the Canadian Soul/Roots/Blues scene by storm!

They even won an Emerging Artist Award at the Edmonton Folk Festival!

Don't miss your chance to see them live! Get your tickets for AV & The Inner City on August 13th at www.camroselive.ca!
