That leads me to the temporary closing announcement.

Masterpiece Events has closed all bookings at this time. If you have previously booked an event with us not to worry, you are still in our calendar! We will not be opening up bookings until the new year.

The Pineapple Shop will also be temporarily closing. All remaining stock will be at The Sweeterie and we encourage you take advantage of all things sweet while picking up your items! To thank you for helping us clear our inventory, ALL remaining stock will be 25% off while it lasts!

MEET LIZ, OUR VOLUNTEER OF THE MONTH FOR MAY 2022!

Liz has been volunteering with the Camrose Women's Shelter for the past five years! She is our event planner for occasions such as "Breakfast with the Guys", "Walk a Mile in Her Shoes" (our major fundraiser), as well as our Shelter Anniversary and Volunteer Recognition celebration.
Liz, thank you for taking time from your busy home and business schedules to answer a few questions for us:

1) Why did you/your company become a volunteer for the Camrose Women Shelter?
The Shelter's purpose is near and dear to my heart. My personal values strongly align with the values of the Shelter. I believe it is such an important cause and it is crucial to support your community's local Shelter. Not to mention, I love working with the staff. Every event is a pleasure for me to contribute to.

2) How long have you been in service and what type of services do you offer at Masterpiece Events?
Masterpiece Events has been in business since 2014. We offer event coordination for any type of event including milestones, corporate and fundraising. We also run Camrose Date Night and last year launched our online retail shop - The Pineapple Shop.

3) Anything else you would like to add/tell everyone about?
I would just like to encourage anyone to check out the needs of the Shelter. There are many ways to help out, whether monetary or volunteering your time in various capacities both inside and outside the Shelter. Also be sure to check out their current list of donation needs!

We have teamed up with The Sweeterie] on another project for . If you are able to help a family in need this holiday season, head down to The Sweeterie to adopt a family!

Posted • The Sweeterie] As you all know, we started a partnership with the Camrose Women's Shelter Society last year for the Christmas giving Tree Program. We are so excited to offer this program again this Christmas with the help from Liz with Masterpiece Events. Please come in and pick a family off our tree. By participating in this program, know that you are providing more than just presents under the tree. You are making a wish - a wish that a family feels like they belong, that they know they are cared for, and that they know they are worthy.

Tis the season to announce our Christmas Giveaway. This year we are doing something a little bit different than years past. This year we would like to gift a family who might be less fortunate, or who might just be having a rough year and a tough time making ends meet, with a Christmas that I hope brings some joy into their lives. Everyone deserves to have Christmas and not be worried about being able to afford it or not!

If the above sounds like you or someone you know, please nominate them! We know this can be a sensitive subject so you can choose to be anonymous when nominating if you like. We will only be selecting 1 family, so be sure to include what makes this family so special and anything you think we should know about them.

What will they get if they are selected?

For starters, everything they will need to make Christmas dinner including:

I’d like to take a moment to take you back to this special day when Camrose gained an amazing asset to the community. When it comes to a Grand Opening we can’t stress enough how important an event planner is. A Grand Opening is such an important event in two scenarios.

The first is the opening of the business. Not only to celebrate your accomplishment of opening, but also to create buzz that will let potential patrons know you exist! Customers are essential, but they have to know about you first. This event is the perfect atmosphere for customers to check you out with no pressure.

The second is a Re-Grand Opening. If you have moved or completed renovations, this is a great way to let people know! It’s is also a spectacular opportunity to show your clients/customers some appreciation. This will go a long way!
