Allison and Bailey have been together for four years, and their story began over a simple coffee meet-up arranged through a mutual friend...though Allison opted for hot chocolate since coffee definitely isn’t her thing. From the very beginning, they bonded over their love for the outdoors, whether it’s camping, quadding, biking, or heading out on spontaneous adventures just because they woke up and decided, “Let’s do this today.”

Together, they’ve built a full and happy little fur family: their dogs Malone and Sierra and their two cats, Leela and Beesley.

They got engaged in Mexico on their very first trip out of the country together, making the moment even more special. Their life is a mix of adventure, spontaneity, lazy weekends in sweats with movies and snacks, and endless laughter thanks to their pets.

One of their favourite memories is the time they drove an hour and a half to a campsite, only for Allison to ask, “Did we remember the keys to the quad and dirt bike?” Without a word, Bailey got back in the car, and off they went....home and back again....laughing the whole way.

There is never a dull moment with these two. No matter the day, the adventure, or the mishap, they always find beauty in each other and in the life they’re building together.
Congratulations to the newly wedded couple!

Jae and Darcy’s story began back in middle school, where they were friends before life took them to different high schools and onto separate paths. Years later, Jae reconnected with Darcy’s sister in college...but life soon grew heavy. Facing hard times and determined to keep her dog, Neo, Jae became homeless. Darcy’s sister opened her home, inviting Jae to stay in the camper in their backyard, and that’s where Jae and Darcy found each other again.

They became close quickly, with Darcy becoming Jae’s steady support during one of the hardest chapters of her life. When he first asked her out, she said no...she needed time to heal after an abusive relationship. But it didn’t take long for her to realize she was falling for him, and soon they began dating.

Through every high and low, they were each other’s rock. And Neo,the dog who brought them back into each other’s lives, became the heart of their little family. Neo is the reason their paths crossed again, the reason they built this life together.

They know they wouldn’t be where they are today without Neo’s love and the way he led them back to one another. He should have been here for their wedding day, but after a battle with cancer his absence is deeply felt, but they carry him with them always. They know he’d be happy to see the life he helped create....Jae and Darcy’s forever love and their happily ever after.

Tyler and Jordan’s love story began with an online match and a pandemic that changed the meaning of a “first date.” Instead of dinner or a movie, they spent countless hours on FaceTime, talking about everything under the sun...and that’s where their connection truly grew.

Five and a half years later, they’ve spent maybe two weeks apart in total. They fell in love fast, Tyler moved in after just a couple of months, and it all felt incredibly natural from the start.

Their engagement happened on Lovers Beach in Cabo, a perfect moment Jordan never saw coming, despite resting her hand right on top of the ring box on the plane. Tyler was so nervous that day she thought he was about to break up with her… but instead he got down on one knee, and she happily said yes.

Congratulations to the gorgeous couple!

Jessi and Kyle’s story began in 2019, when they both happened to be invited to the same dinner with mutual friends. A simple evening out sparked a connection that followed Jessi all the way to Mexico on her solo trip, where they continued chatting until she returned home and their first dates began.

During those early days, Kyle showed his sweet side...like dropping off chicken noodle soup when Jessi was sick. Their relationship grew naturally, and by 2021 they were living together. In 2022, Kyle proposed at Heritage Village, the same place they’d gone to their first concert together, “Boots and Brews.”

Today, Jessi and Kyle share a love for travelling the world and look forward to a lifetime of adventures still to come.
Congratulations to the newly wedded couple!

Erin and Jake’s story began back in junior high, when a simple friendship sparked something much bigger. They fell in love the slow and steady way...by becoming best friends first, then spending late nights on FaceTime, growing together, and realizing they couldn’t picture a future without each other. Jake knew he was in trouble the moment Erin picked up a golf club for the first time, and Erin was hooked from the very first off-key C-note he sang on YouTube.

Over the past 10 years they’ve built a life side by side. From becoming “fur parents” to Grimm, Freddie, and Bogey, to cheering each other on as they found their passions and careers, to buying a home and planning a future, they’ve grown into a team that celebrates every milestone together.

After a decade together, no one was surprised when Jake proposed. The family simply said, “It’s about time.”

Brittany and Christopher’s story began at work, where Brittany initially thought they wouldn’t even get along. But after a year of working side by side, they became close friends who bonded over magic nights and board games. Friendship turned into something more, and after a year of dating, they found out they were expecting their daughter.

A few months later and Christopher had planned the most thoughtful, magical engagement at the Fantasyland Hotel. Brittany opened the door to rose petals and heart-shaped lights leading to a glowing sign that was meant to say “marry me”...though it hilariously read “mayrr me.” She was so excited she didn’t even notice until video-chatting her mom afterward. It was a night she’ll never forget!

Sheonna and Jim were two people who had almost given up on love...both divorced, both tired, when they decided to take a chance online. One simple first date changed everything. They instantly felt like they’d discovered the best friend they never knew they were missing.

Only six months later, Covid hit, and suddenly they had no choice but to spend all their time together. While many couples around them struggled, they thrived...road-tripping across the country, finding new adventures, and settling into a domestic happiness that still fills their life today.

They’ve been told how lucky they are, how enviable their connection is. People call Sheonna a ray of sunshine, and joke that Jim should teach classes on how to treat your partner. They support each other fiercely, whether it’s sticking out tough jobs so the other can chase a lifelong passion in medicine, or encouraging a weekend softball getaway.

They know life will bring ups and downs, but everything feels easy with one another. They consider themselves incredibly fortunate to have found this second chance at love....and they choose each other every single day.

Marsha and Matija’s story began five years ago with a pumpkin spice latte....Matija ordered one on their first date, and Marsha has lovingly teased him about it ever since. What started as two friends hanging out slowly grew into something undeniably special.

When work took Matija to BC, they kept their connection strong through long distance. Just three months later, he surprised Marsha with the question, “Do you want a roommate?” She happily said yes, and he moved in. Four years later, they’ve built a beautiful life together, buying their first house and filling it with love.

In a crazy world, Marsha and Matija are grateful every day for each other...standing side by side, supporting one another no matter what

Amy and Erick’s love story is one of perfect timing. Though they both grew up in Lloydminster, AB, they didn’t officially meet until February 2022...thanks to Tinder (like everyone else these days, lol). Erick’s opening line was a Step Brothers quote, which immediately caught Amy’s attention, and as they chatted, they realized they had actually known of each other for years.

After 18 days of FaceTime marathons leading up to their first date at Cora’s, they knew they had found something special. By date three, Erick was already certain Amy was “the one.” They bonded quickly over shared values, a matching sense of humour, and a deep understanding of each other’s journeys.

Erick didn’t just fall in love with Amy...he fell in love with her daughter, too, stepping effortlessly into the role of the amazing stepdad Amy had always hoped for. Together with their two cats, Oscar and Winnie, they’ve built a home filled with love, laughter, growth, and connection.

Their paths may have taken the scenic route, but they found each other at exactly the right time, and their little family couldn’t be more complete.
Congratulations to the newly wedded couple!

Rae and Shelby’s love story is one built on laughter, adventure, and a shared love for the great outdoors. They first met online in 2019, and it didn’t take long before sparks flew and they started dating. When the pandemic hit, life threw them a challenge...living in different cities and quarantining apart... but love found its way. Shelby eventually suggested they move in together, and from that point on, they’ve been inseparable.

The couple loves exploring nature; hiking, camping, fishing, hunting, and especially visiting the mountains. Their most recent trip to Banff and Lake Minnewanka was unforgettable, especially for their dog Moose, who had the time of his life swimming, hiking, and chasing ground squirrels. Their other fur baby, Brutus, a long-haired, cuddly cat, completes their little family.

Rae and Shelby share countless laughs... from Rae’s clumsy moments on hikes to Shelby zipping around on her nana’s mobility scooter just to make her smile. Shelby has one of the biggest hearts, always caring deeply for her loved ones and working hard as an electrician to build a wonderful life together. Rae knew Shelby was “the one” from their very first date....a night of dinner, city drives, deep talks, and a kiss that Rae famously said, “Wowww, what a kiss!”
