Sierra and Justmit’s story began with a chance meeting at a rooftop bar, leading to a first date. The connection was instant, despite Justmit being 30mins late to their first date, and a second date involving very competitive bowling.

Since then, they’ve shared laughter, adventure, and plenty of dancing. Together, they’ve explored, shared their love of good food, and Sierra has even started to learn a few words from Ghana (Justmit's home)....although it hasn't got past 10 words yet!

Together, they are proof that the best adventures happen with someone who makes your eyes light up and your heart race. Here’s to more love, more dancing, and all the bright moments ahead for Sierra and Justmit!

Valene and Travis’s love story began more than 21 years ago, starting from small-town Newfoundland roots to building a beautiful life together in Alberta.

A chance encounter...they first met through mutual friends when Travis was on a weekend trip in the town Valene was living. After one date, Valene didn’t think she’d see him again, but Travis had other plans...A few days later, he was back in town, and the rest is history.

Now, two decades later, they’re proud parents to two amazing teenage sons, and share a life full of adventure, laughter, and love. They embrace the great outdoors, together with their loyal dog, Oskar, spending their time camping in the mountains, fishing, and riding ATVs and motorcycles.

Montana and Waylon’s story is the kind of love you only hear about in country songs….

They met in high school, but with a year’s difference. Life didn’t bring them together immediately…over a decade later when they were bridesmaid and groomsman at their best friends’ wedding they found they just couldn’t stop talking….

Waylon asked her out first, but Montana wasn’t looking for anything serious (she even had a Thailand trip planned… spoiler: it never happened). But on May 5th, inspired by her favourite song Five Days in May by Blue Rodeo, she made the first move…and they’ve been in love ever since.

Their lives came together like a perfect puzzle…Montana with her pit bull and two cats, Waylon with his rottweiler and shepherd mix. It was a full, furry, and fun house, and though they’ve since said goodbye to their beloved dogs, Cabela Benelli, and Downey, they still have Bonnie and Clyde ruling the roost.

Now, they share their lives with their spirited two-year-old daughter, who has the perfect mix of mom’s determination and dad’s humour! She definitely keeps them on their toes!

Ally and Danton’s love story began in high school when they were paired for a class project about marriage and budgeting for a baby. It didn’t take long for Ally to decide that Danton was her future…and she made sure to "accidentally" walk into class with him every day, invite him over for lunch gaming sessions, and even enlist his help with starting her friend’s car. Soon after they were officially a couple…inseparable from that point on.

They’ve been happily renovating their own home. Sharing their lives with their two dogs, Coco and Lemmy, who bring joy and laughter to their home. They are now eagerly awaiting the arrival of their first baby! Congratulations!!!

This love story is already filled with joy, laughter, and a beautiful life built on teamwork, love, and countless shared adventures. Here’s to a lifetime of happiness to Ally and Danton!

Eight years ago, Jessica and Russell’s love story began work. Russell first noticed Jessica during her lunchtime walks around the lake and conveniently decided he enjoyed walking too. Eventually, their paths intertwined, leading to shared walks and growing fondness. Before he could muster the courage to ask her out, Jessica beat him to it, inviting him on a hike up Coliseum Mountain. That first date sealed their fate, with Jessica's mischievous dog Lucy and Russell’s unforgettable plaid shorts and green headband making it truly memorable.

Together, they’ve built a life of laughter, love, and countless stories, and their next chapter begins with “I do.”

Eight years ago, Ashleigh and Aaron met through a mutual friend at Ashleigh’s birthday celebration. Spark’s flew, but it was Aaron’s beloved rottweiler, Mason, that stole Ashleigh’s heart first! Luckily, Ashleigh quickly realized Aaron was her perfect match (though Mason definitely helped).

They’ve since added rottweiler Mia to the family, and have enjoyed many adventures together. They decided to get married on flat ground, after almost sliding down a mountain when they took their first hike together in the mountains of Canmore.

For Ashleigh and Aaron, eloping felt like the perfect way to celebrate their easygoing, lighthearted love…just the two of them, saying “I do” in a moment that’s truly theirs. Cheers to the happy couple!

Onalie and Tyler’s story began online, connected by their shared passion for modified vehicles. After years of online conversations, they finally took the leap to meet in person when Tyler flew 4,000 km from Ontario to Alberta. In just 10 days together, they knew they wanted more.

Without hesitation, Tyler packed his life into his car and made the two-day drive from Ontario to Alberta to start their journey together. Since then, every day has been a dream come true.

Angela and Simon’s story began 10 years ago with a blind date arranged by Angela’s aunt. Though they hit it off, Simon was hesitant about getting too serious…so much so that he moved away for a job, perhaps hoping the distance would fizzle things out. But love had other plans, and Simon eventually returned. Before long, Angela moved into his tiny 1930s farmhouse, where they learned to embrace the beauty of the present moment.

Over the years, their story has been filled with unexpected turns, like Angela bringing home Dixie, the blue heeler for Christmas. They renovated a city house together, and had two beautiful children together.

Simon proposed during a visit to Angela’s grandmother, who was nearing the end of her cancer battle. Though initially shocked by the timing, Angela soon realized the thoughtfulness behind it…Simon wanted her grandmother to share in their joy. It was a moment that reflected the essence of their relationship: full of unexpected challenges, deep care, and a shared commitment to building a life together.

Matthias and Andrea’s story began at a bar in Munich…Andrea was a regular, and Matthias started working there while waiting for his PR card and attending paramedical school. After months of seeing each other almost daily, they officially became a couple.

Matthias then made the big move to Canada, and Andrea followed the next year. Together, they built a life in Calgary, filled with adventures and exploring the best of Canada.

2024 was a big year for them…they found out they are expecting their first child! Congratulations!!!! And Matthias proposed to Andrea on her birthday in May, surrounded by their visiting family from Germany.

From shared adventures to cheering each other on, their love is built on partnership, passion, and a deep connection.

Vicki and Jim’s journey together has been years in the making…a story of friendship, life’s twists and turns, and finding each other again when the timing was just right. They first met as teens through mutual friends at church camp and youth activities, and staying connected. Their friendship turned into romance when Jim asked Vicki to his prom, where they danced to “Drops of Jupiter” by Train.

After attending university together in Saint John, life took them in different directions…Jim to Alberta and Vicki to Red Deer. Both built lives, careers, and families of their own, but fate had other plans. A decade later, they reconnected through a chance email from Vicki. Emails became calls, calls became visits, and before long, Jim packed up his life to join Vicki in Alberta.

They’ve built a beautiful blended family together, along with three cats (Coco, Lady, and Mr. Flouffers). Their home is full of love, laughter, and just the right amount of chaos.

They decided on a small, intimate elopement with their kids to officially seal their love story. After nearly 20 years of knowing each other, their journey is proof that true love always finds its way.

Mary and James’s story began at a farewell party for a mutual friend, where their paths crossed at just the right moment. Their connection sparked instantly…so much so that James jumped at the chance to get her number during a group hike plan. The very next day, they hung out, and what Mary thought was a friendly meet-up quickly turned into something more when James put his arm around her.

James proposed to Mary during her New Year’s Eve birthday celebration, right in front of a stunning Christmas tree where they’d taken pictures the year before. It was the perfect way to kick off a new chapter in their lives, surrounded by friends, family, and joy.

These two are honestly such a perfect match for each other. And what a gorgeously personalised ceremony….right down to the hand-knitted bouquet and boutonnieres! Amazing skill!

Amber and James’s love story began at Fort Knox, where they met during military training. Amber was from Washington State, and James was from North Carolina, but distance was no match for their growing connection. Their “first date” was a memorable day exploring Louisville, KY, during a rare free half-day from training. After months of traveling cross-country to see each other, Amber made the big move to be with James.

James proposed when the couple returned to Amber’s home state of Washington, in the beautiful sunken garden outside the capitol building. With their favourite song playing in the background, James brought Amber her favourite boba tea and Bahn Mi sandwiches...a perfect gesture during her busy legislative days.

Amber and James have built a life full of love, adventure, and mutual encouragement. They adore their precious dogs, Abraham and Kilo. Despite demanding careers and military service, they are each other’s peace amid chaos, always finding joy in life’s simplest and grandest moments.
