You may have noticed a few new faces making an appearance on our Social Media pages, and you'll definitely be seeing more of them! We have some official new members of the Oksana's Magical Events team! 💖✨

Everyone, meet Christina and Sam!

Christina comes from the medical field as an Air Medic, but also has an amazing creative side that I just can't keep up with! She is taking up the role as our Creative Director, taking charge of the creative side of event planning including Décor Consultations, assistance creating or sourcing DIY décor/custom wedding items, and our Rentals Division, all of which is officially launching in January 2024! Christina will also be my second set of hands at all future events, which is a giant weight off of my shoulders!

Sam, our new Events Assistant, will be helping out when we need a third set of hands on event days or at Wedding and Event shows, and with some of the more technical/behind the scenes support like making sure we can all see the calendar and access the necessary files. 😅 Sam comes to us from the world of botanicals. Even though she's not a florist, she's got quite the green thumb, so she knows a thing or two about flowers. She's also equally creative, and will be an amazing asset as we continue to grow!

I will remain our Lead Coordinator and Planner, assisting with logistics, timing, and ensuring your event goes as smoothly as possible.

Christina and I did our first event together on the weekend, and it's safe to say she was IMMENSELY helpful and extremely prepared!!

What does this mean? It means we can grow as a company and help more people have magical memories to look back on! We can offer MORE than just Event Coordination or Planning, and can be as helpful as we can be.

I can't wait to see what our future holds!

Talk about stunning! 💖😍💖

My phone died part way through cocktail hour so I didn't get a chance to post this ABSOLUTELY GORGEOUS setup for C & M's wedding yesterday! (Then it didn't cross-post to Facebook 🤦🏼‍♀️)

Gorgeous venue, beautiful decor, and an awesome couple! They picked some amazing vendors to work with!

Oh, and the staff and the food at the were beyond amazing! They even remembered my intolerances!!! Thanks again to Rodrigo and his team for everything! I'd drive out there for events anytime to work with these guys again!

Would you just look at these 2!!!!

BEYOND late posting these photos of S & K's Haliburton Highlands Winter wedding back in '22, but I think it was SO worth the wait!! These photos are stunning!! Silvana Marshall captured the love these 2 share beautifully!

This Northern Ontario Staycation Wedding (for most of us) was an absolute blast; warm woods and pines, with touches of Scottish traditions, a Cheese Cake (complete with mice toppers!! 😍) and Radio Bingo during dinner! The couple even brewed their own beers!

I really wish I could post more than 10 photos at a time; it was so hard to choose!

For now, I'll start with these, and do a full dump on their anniversary this winter!

This news is absolutely devastating!!!

If you haven't heard, Berkeley Events and Catering filed for bankruptcy as of July 31st, unbeknownst to the staff and couples.

Their doors are now locked with chains, and there is a notice on the door. If you have an event coming up at ANY of the 3 venues, your event is cancelled, and you will NOT get any money back. It appears they are not answering emails or phone calls, and have turned off commenting on their social media pages.

I'm happy to help affected couples to find a new venue, coordinate with your vendors to get everything to the new venue, or even just be a shoulder to cry on and an ear to listen, all FREE OF CHARGE!

Please do not hesitate to reach out! The entire wedding world is here to help!

Just a very small snippet of A & N's dual ceremony wedding at from back in April!

You can sense how much these two love each other...you can see it in those big beautiful smiles 😄💖

We did a shorter, simpler version of a Hindu ceremony, followed by a Christian ceremony so both of their cultures and religions could be honoured. Then we partied late into the night!

All of the amazing vendors came together to make this day seamless and magical 💖✨🪄

What a beautiful setup for the first of 2 ceremonies today for A & N!

brought in the stunning birch mandap, and added such simple and elegant draping.

The Bride and groom provided the additional decor, and my team and I strung them up!

The finishing touches were 5 stained glass dragonflies made by a family friend.
