You may have noticed an extra smile on our team - that would’ve been Grace!

As a student of the Marketing and Advertising Program at Holland College, Grace joined Hope and Julie on the social team for the summer. Here’s what she was up to:

• Filming on-site content for clients like Cavendish Beach and Golf Cavendish Beach and helping turn it into engaging reels
• Working closely with Chez Yvonne's Restaurant to create monthly calendars and content
• Finding trends and creating fun TikToks for Prince Edward Island Potatoes
• Helping keep engagement up on all our social media accounts for clients
• Announcing this year’s PEI Spirits Festival on socials (happening November 1st, so get your tickets!)

Having a student help through the busy season while gaining hands-on experience means everything to us!

VMG was thrilled to support Meet PEI on their FAM tour stop at Rodd Crowbush Golf & Beach Resort earlier this week! Emma and Charlotte coordinated entertainment, vendors, and brought the space to life with locally picked flowers and oyster shell décor. A fabulous evening showcasing the best of Prince Edward Island to meeting and conference planners.

It was a night to remember at The Lady Ball in support of Ovarian Cancer Canada.

VMG was once again proud to sponsor and support The Lady Ball – an event that is deeply meaningful to us. 🤍

Thanks to everyone’s incredible generosity, the event raised $116,000 for ovarian cancer advocacy and research in Canada! Every dollar raised fuels groundbreaking initiatives, advancing efforts so women can live their lives freely and uninhibited by ovarian cancer.

We were honored to be surrounded by some of the most inspiring and resilient women last Friday, and we’re already counting down to 2026!

Today is Global Meetings Industry Day, and we’re proud to celebrate with our incredible partners Meet PEI, our amazing suppliers, and clients who trust VMG as their go-to destination management company on PEI. 🎉👏

Business events are so much more than gatherings — they create real economic impact. On PEI alone, meetings and conferences contribute up to $23.5 million annually, supporting local jobs and businesses across the Island.

For example, one meeting of 300 delegates in Charlottetown represents roughly $551,000 in economic impact and 112 jobs supported! That’s big business!!

Across Canada, the numbers are even more powerful:
- $47B in direct spending
- 40% of all tourism spending
- 242,000+ jobs

We’ve been out and about, meeting with tourism industry operators and leaders!

Industry support and collaboration are now more important than ever, and our team is proud to contribute to keeping Prince Edward Island’s tourism strong.

Lately, we’ve been sharing stories through the Tourism Industry Association of Prince Edward Island’s “PEI: Powered by Tourism” campaign, showing how tourism benefits business owners and ALL Islanders. Here’s what we’ve been working on:
