so passionate about capturing emotion through the lens and expressing stories through cinemetography and photography. I Recently discovered this love for photography and film. A dream that was always inside of me, just waiting to come out in God's perfect timing. I've had a lot of confirmation these last couple months but have been fighting with it on the inside. Only to come to realize that you can't change what gifts God has given you, eventually he pulls them out of you. I love taking pictures and freezing the one thing that is always always changing and moving- which is time,. Change is the only "constant" thing. Its inevitable , no matter what we all go through change. So I have found one of my happy places in capturing a moment that will be frozen in time, a moment and a memory that can tell a thousand words so that we may never forget where this life has taken us and the moments and the people that have impacted us greatly. I would love to get to know you so don't be afraid to wave over the social medias or ask to grab coffee! xo

Okay, so picture 🖼️ this: I roll up to our first location at sunrise in Wrightsville Beach, North Carolina—this cute little ocean spot we had in mind for the session. BUT, as I pull in, I realize… I’m smack dab in the middle of a Netflix movie set! 😱

I freaked out thinking John B was about to stroll past my totally out-of-place car. 😂 Unfortunately because of this, we had to change plans, but it turned out beautifully.

We ended up under the pier where JJ and Kiara jumped off in the latest season of Outer Banks 🥹.

From running on the beach to sitting under the pier, putting on a sentimental necklace, picking fruit from a cactus tree🌵 (who knew?!), and soaking in the sunrise together—it was perfect.

We wrapped up with morning coffee ☕️ , then kicked back under string lights and palm trees 🌴 at my hotel, feet up on a hammock, talking about how these two were getting married the very next day.

This engagement session? One I’ll never forget. 🙌✨

January 10th will forever be the day my heart expanded in ways I never imagined. 9 years ago, my sweet Theodore made me a mama for the very first time, and my life has never been the same. He taught me about unconditional love, patience, and the purest joy.

Then, 2 years later, my Ivy Rae of sunshine came into the world, filling our days with her endless light, s***k, and sparkle. Together, they’ve shown me the beauty of life through their eyes and the kind of love that makes everything else fade away.

Being their mama is the greatest gift of my life, and I’m so grateful for these two souls who made January 10th the most special day. ❤️

Pinch me, 🤏 because I still feel like I’m dreaming. ✨ Katie and Kaleb’s wedding in North Carolina was nothing short of an enchantment—a day so beautiful, I’m not sure I’ll ever recover. 🥹

From walking into the getting ready suite and being presented with the most gorgeous dress I’ve ever seen, to capturing the fly-on-the-wall moments of laughter, prayers, and quiet love that filled every corner of this day. I’ll never forget the glance over Dad’s shoulder at his daughter and wife before the ceremony or the sacred stillness of their first communion as husband and wife. 🍷🍞

And just when I thought it couldn’t get better, Katie made a spontaneous decision mid-reception to cut her hair 💇‍♀️ (yes, you read that right!) while changing into her party dress—and the way Kaleb serenaded her mid reception was everything. The perfect ending? These lovebirds driving away in the cutest getaway car, 🚗leaving behind a trail of love and joy.

This wasn’t just a wedding; it was a glimpse of God’s glory, shining down on two hearts becoming one. 🙏

At 10:00 AM, I knocked on the door of Ethel and George’s charming home in Ridgetown, ready to document their story and create a meaningful gift for their family. Little did I know, I would walk away with an even greater gift.

I’m calling this session “43 Years of Love + Continuous Light on 60 West.”

To capture their story authentically, I started by chatting with their granddaughter. She shared details of their Friday Dairy Queen dates and sacred morning devotional time—beautiful memories that shaped the direction of the shoot.

When I arrived, I spent 20 minutes talking with George and Ethel before even picking up my camera. I learned they’ve been married and living in the same home for 43 years. George, a talented woodworker, showed me the incredible pieces he’s built over the years: a sewing desk for Ethel, a communion box that was given away and miraculously found in a thrift shop years later, and a lighthouse by their front door. Ethel explained its significance—they see themselves as called to be a lighthouse for people.

Their home is filled with treasures, like a wooden box on the dining room wall holding the Bible Ethel carried when she walked down the aisle. Their love story isn’t just about the two of them—it has extended into a legacy of kids, grandkids, and great-grandkids, whose photos proudly line their wallpapered walls. Ethel beamed as she spoke about each one of them.

Even their beloved Dairy Queen dates made an appearance in the session. George had saved empty containers for the photos, and before we began, they bowed their heads in prayer—even though the containers were empty.

By 12pm, as I said my goodbyes, I felt profoundly moved by their story. Spending two hours with George and Ethel reminded me of the power of love, faith, and family. Their home, their legacy, and their devotion to one another radiate a light that truly reflects their calling as a “lighthouse.”

I can only hope these visuals honor their journey in a way words cannot fully express, preserving the beauty and faith that shine through their lives.

New York City on 35mm 🎞️ from my perspective.
PLEASE READ THIS CAPTION 👇🏻

I woke up this morning with a wave 🌊 of gratitude rushing over me, for all of the places photography has taken me this past year.

The big apple 🍎 being one of just a few, every moment has been a reminder of how lucky I am to capture stories in such incredible places.

A NYC 🏙️ terrace proposal + a Brooklyn Bridge engagement session no longer sits in my overflowing photography bucket list 🥹

So incredibly thankful to the journey, the people, and the beauty around me that inspires it all. ✨

Thank you from the bottom of my heart for trusting me with my gift to be able to give you the gift of memories, tiny moments captured in photographs that serve as proof of the places YOU have been, the people YOU have loved and the journey that YOU have walked, or ran, or danced through. Laughed, cried or sang through.

I don’t take any of it lightly, and truly understand that one day, it is the photographs 🖼️ that will be the only thing remaining for other generations to reminisce on our behalf 🥹

I rarely pause to celebrate my wins, but today, I’m letting myself feel proud. From building a six-figure business from the ground up to capturing love stories around the world and having the honour to mentor other photographers turned friends as they chase their dreams—this journey has been nothing short of incredible. But what truly fills my heart isn’t the milestones or accolades—it’s the people. It’s the honor of documenting love that evolves into family, of seeing clients grow and return, and of empowering other photographers to find their path. Because there is space here for you too, and if there’s anyone who’s believes in you it’s me!! Holla at your girl I’ll encourage you along the way always. The connections I’ve built and the lives I’ve touched—that’s what matters most to me. And also I get to work alongside my beautiful twin sister not only in the wedding industry as my photography and her makeup collide but also in the form of a small intimate event space @thestudiosistersco So enjoy this little clip and let’s see how much my twin actually knows about my personal bizzzz 🥹✨🤣

Me after a bride inquires and her wedding vision straight up ALIGNS ✨ Does anybody else immediately stop 🛑 what you’re doing, run to your book to see if you have it available, google the venue and creep all the photo locations, come up with an engagement session idea based on how they met and start dreaming of their big day? And you HAVEN’T EVEN MET YET. I’ve jumped on a plane, flew to a destination and met my couple for the first time at their shoot (thank goodness I’m still alive) 😅 You know that feeling when something feels so right you can’t stop thinking about it? That’s me, basically pacing around like a kid on Christmas Eve, ears peeled for Santa’s footsteps—or in this case, waiting for their reply to see if we are a good fit for each other! The anticipation is real, and my heart is already so invested in making their dream day come to life. Fingers crossed 🤞🏻 we’re about to create something beautiful together! Who else is with me???

🥹Seeing my art breathe in these places🥹... This past year, 🗓️ my camera 📷 has carried me across breathtaking landscapes and unforgettable love stories—Punta Cana’s golden beaches 🏝️, the towering peaks of Banff and Canmore (twice!) ⛰️🏔️the quiet magic of Muskoka, and the rugged charm of the Bruce Peninsula (flower pot island). I’ve captured fleeting moments in North Carolina 🐚🐬 (also twice!), Vermont’s season of the sticks, 🏞️ and the heart of New York City, from Central Park to Times Square and the Brooklyn Bridge.🌉🗽 Photographing some of these places in different seasons was nothing short of surreal. 🥹 Seeing the way light, love, and landscapes 🌅 shift with time reminds me why I’m so drawn to this art—it’s fleeting, it’s raw, and it’s endlessly beautiful. Every moment, every destination, ✈️ and every story has left its mark on me. Creating soulful visuals in these places has been the greatest privilege, and the core memories made along the way are a blessing I’ll never take for granted. Here’s to chasing love 💕 and light ✨ wherever it leads me—and to the camera I hold so passionately, allowing me to press pause on the fleeting beauty of it all. But most importantly, to the incredible people who trust me to document 🎞️ and honor their stories with the utmost care and authenticity.
