SPRING UPDATE: Things have been pretty quiet around these parts lately. I finished school in December and have started my therapy practice, which has been fulfilling and exciting! I continue to wind down my farming work with Floralora and I wanted to let you all know what that means! I will be selling flowers this spring starting on Mother’s Day weekend but will not be taking orders for flower delivery. Flowers will be for sale at our farmstand and perhaps a few other locations (stay tuned). After June, we will likely stop selling flowers, as I am not planting a garden for sales this summer.
I will also not be holding a seedling sale this spring but encourage you to support all the other awesome small businesses who do!
As always, I’m very grateful to everyone who has supported Floralora over the years and through this transition!
I’m looking forward to a summer of building my practice, spending time with family and friends, and gardening for pleasure!

I am selling off some of my peony plants this fall for pickup only in Prince Edward County. I planted them 5 years ago as 3/5 eye roots and have been harvesting them for 2 years now and am getting 8-12 stems/per plant and they will only keep growing. Normally when buying peonies, you have to wait 3 years to harvest them but these plants are ready to harvest next spring. Peonies are a larger investment but are extremely low maintenance, produce more stems every year, and are always easy to sell for $2-$4/stem.
10 plant minimum, pickup in early October.

The first of two Growing Beauty workshops with .by.design is happening on June 15 and there are still some spots available!
This half-day, active workshop is for anyone interested in learning about, planning, and implementing naturalistic gardens and using sustainably grown flowers and plants for use in floral design. This workshop will be held on East Lake Farm, surrounded by the beauty of a 8-year naturalistic garden project and commercial flower growing plots.
