A Spring Garden
Spring sends a hopeful message of recovery.
Another way to celebrate Earth Day…
Plants are fun and so are red wiggler compost worms. Both are for sale on May 11.

Opportunities in spring gardens
When you look at this clip, please see opportunities.
Permaculture gardening provides opportunities to support bee, bug and worm habitat that helps improve your summer garden.
Opportunities for self-seeded plants to take hold, to use your cuttings as a product. We use our cuttings for our annual spring plant sale.
Above all, by not disturbing the ground you leave carbon in the soil.
Plus, less working in the garden frees you to enjoy being in nature.
Bees & Seeds
Our flower farm takes on an international flare this year, thanks to these seed packets from our Swiss friends. Mint for tea, wildflowers for bees, and blooms for all to enjoy.

Getting Ready for Spring
When it's time to take down evergreen holiday decorations, learn how to save money and be environmentally friendly at the same time.
Tulips for spring arrangements!
Latest tulip bulb planting we’ve ever done! The soil was workable with my hand tool because we had it mulched with straw to harvest carrots in winter. The bulbs were drying up in the store so I had nothing to lose.
Easy steps:
move the snow and straw, dig a trough, plant bulbs 4”-6” deep with pointy end up, cover with soil, add compost tea, and final step, cover with bark mulch. Wait for spring & dream of the arrangements!
Wait… wait… wait… We’re Open!
