Patiently waiting for all of the irises (stocks poking out the top) to open up! But for now, completely soaking up these poppies and ranunculus!!

I have never been so specific with seed collection, I usually get too excited about the blooms that I chop them all and bring them indoors! This year I have had so much fun selecting the strongest, thickest stems with the biggest flower heads on these amazing Iceland poppies! The cool weather obviously agrees with them, this is the best crop I have had to date! And just LOOK at these amazing colours!

So happy with my pansies this year. Started these little babies in January!!! I love when flowers can catch that antique paper colouring; brown, ochre, pastel. I find it so beautiful, it feels like a paradox looking old and alive and new all at the same time.

My new fave vessel is this imitation rock vase! I added dried moss and my first daffodils (which are always also my favourite daffodils) called British Gamble, a couple other no names that I forced open as well 😅 and some foraged branches to it! Voila the first spring arrangement and also the last tasty treat of daffodils for most people online since I live up in Canada. So fun to play with flowers 🌸 🤗
