It's garden season folks!
You can find me battling weeds, overgrown beds and talking sunset strolls through waist deep grass to get to my rose patch these days.

I love the way our home feels when the afternoon sun hits a glass vase casting dancing shadows across the kitchen and the way it smells of sweet summer nostalgia.

Celebrating 13 wonderful years living alongside my best friend and husband today. 🥂

We like to keep our life pretty private so I won't be posting a bunch of deliciously mushy photos, but here's a sneak peek of our intimate wedding reception back in 2021.

I just adore scrolling through old photo albums on my phone. I really need to print more photos because I miss making time to curl up on the couch with a stack of massive albums.

It's almost spring!

This girl is itching to get my hands on some flowers for creative play and skill building!

It feels both strange and perfect to be coming up on another wedding season with empty books as I will be taking the time off to enjoy raising my son in his first year of life!

As far as I know, I won't be offering my services this season but that may change if the right fit comes along 😉 I miss weddings! 🌸

My goodness! How has it already been 2 months? On Dec.15th, my husband and I welcomed our first little turnip into the world and have been soaking up every magical moment since.

Though I'm clearly very busy tending to the needs of my scrumptious little honey blub, I still find time to daydream about starting seeds and growing a flower garden for myself this spring. That will either never happen, or, I will buy some plant starts at a nursery to make my life a bit easier.

I'm learning about slowing down and with the busy mind that I've got, it's hard! I have so many projects that I want to finish, 100 more than I want to start and 1000 more than I need to clean up from last year before things got away from me! 😂

Leaning into motherhood has been the best experience that I could have ever possibly imagined for myself and though there's a ton of changes and new challenges that go alongside that, it's honestly what I've waited for my entire life.

Geesh...talk about running sentences. But who needs to breathe when reading a paragraph anyways? 😂 It's been too long since I've used my brain.

Anyways! I'm still here! Just taking things slowly and focusing my attention where it matters right now 🥰
