Happy Sunday Eve everyone! I see it’s been raining at home today. We’ve lucked out with weather today but last night there was a pretty big rain/thunder storm in Leavenworth. Luckily we set up our tent just in time 🙌🏼 I just finished an updated family session for this famjam and I cannot wait to share 🥰 But in the meantime here is are a couple snaps from this Angels newborn session. A different kind of mommy & me session and I’m so here for it! This was so much fun! And to see the happiness of a mother who gets to have these moments with her not so little daughter. As a girl mom, and my girls become older I can see they are becoming less cuddly 😢 I got so much joy in watching this session unfold and to see the smiles on mamas face 🥰 .thea
There’s nothing quite like witnessing the pure joy and love of new parents for their baby. The parents’ obsession with every little detail of their baby’s life is truly beautiful to capture. Best job ever!
A tiny miracle cradled in the palm of your hand. Their delicate fingers curl around your own, their skin soft as silk and their breaths barely a whisper in the stillness. Every heartbeat is a testament to their vulnerability and strength, a rhythmic reminder of the sheer miracle of their existence. Their eyes, wide with innocence, hold the promise of endless possibilities, each blink a gentle affirmation of hope. In their quiet, serene presence, they encapsulate the profound beauty of new beginnings, each moment with them a precious, fleeting gift.
It’s absolutely incredible how quickly they grow. When they come to me days after they’ve been born and by the time I finish editing the gallery, the parents always tell me how much bigger they are. They are only this teeny for a short moment and I love that I get to document it.

Happy Father’s Day! I have met some incredible men that have become fathers. In the short time that I have spent with all of these men, I have seen how they nurture, love, and protect their baby. Fathers unconditionally believe in us, pick us up when we fall, and encourage us to always try again. They are there for us during all the hard moments and as much as they want to just fix the problem for us they know that they need to direct us through our struggles so we can become stronger. The power of a father is unmatched! Happy Father’s Day to all the amazing dads out there, and to all of those who step up to fill those shoes 🫶🏼

We originally planned to do this session outdoors, but Mother Nature had other plans 🌬️☔️ With that said, this Maternity session in my studio worked out so beautifully. Full of laughter and joy. I cannot wait to meet their little babe!

Introducing Little Max 🥺 This little guys melted my heart 🫶🏼🫠 I still pinch myself sometimes because I can’t believe this is my job and I get to be apart of such a special time. A lot of times during these sessions the parents get emotional with all the feels and I’m right there with them front row. Most of my clients book the Maternity and Newborn session together (discounted when both are booked) and I get to be apart of such an intimate time in their lives, even for the short time I am with them, these sessions hold a special place in my heart. I treat every single one of these sessions as if it were mine through and through. From conversing, to planning to shooting to editing to delivery- I want my clients to know how much I love doing this and how much I care.
