Well, it's that time of year! Deep in the woods at Whispering Springs, couples are exchanging love and vows. Intimate, Elopements, Renewals even Larger then Life Weddings. It's as big as all outdoors. The woods are magical and standing in the middle of the forest really feels like a sacred sanctuary.

What's on my mind? Pizza. Pizza? Pizza! Nowadays, couples are looking for a more relaxed and fun wedding reception. Imagine what fun it would be to be catered to. Lots of choices other than chicken and salmon, unless of course, you want them on your pizza. Keep it simple.

Mary was delightful! I felt completely taken care of. She was very responsive to our needs in terms of the tone and wording of the ceremony and took extra time to work with us on the text. She conducted the ceremony with warmth and ease, which relaxed everyone, especially the bride and groom! Many of our guests complimented us on the warmth and beauty of the ceremony and Mary was a big part of the reason. Our wedding was just what we had hoped it would be. We will never forget our wonderful wedding and cannot thank Mary enough for bring her humor, her grace and loving touch.

Wonderful!
We were looking for an officiant for our wedding. We came across Mary and she had such great reviews. We live pretty far away from our venue so she met with us over skype which was great. Once we met her we knew knew we had found our officiant. Mary is so friendly, very knowledgeable and has a great sense of humour, our family and friends loved her. She wrote such a beautiful ceremony and even helped with our vows when we got a little stuck. I would 100% recommended Mary to anyone! Abigail

If I could give 10000 stars I would!!!!
Reverend Mary McCandless was amazing! Not just for the service, she was there for us every step of the way!! There were snafooz but Mary kept everything going smoothly ( the entire venue had no internet so we lost music, which meant no wedding march) without missing a beat, Mary had the entire audience hum me down the aisle!!!!! IT WAS AMAZING!!!!!!! I SINCERELY BELIEVE THAT MY DAY WOULD NOT HAVE BEEN AS SPECIAL HAD MARY NOT BEEN THERE.

Warm, Charismatic, and Magical Officiant!

Mary was so wonderful to work with! :)
From our initial Zoom interview as a couple in getting to know her, we knew she was the one! She took the time to get to know us as a couple and was able to accommodate the ceremony to our needs. She was flexible, accommodating, and inspiring! We had a non-denominational service and still, Mary made our special moment feel divine and sacred. Mary took the time to get to know us, the type of wedding we wanted and provided guidance when we needed it. She was always quick to respond to our emails and was flexible with our meeting times. She has a very calming presence yet was quick to laugh with us too! She even made sure her outfit matched our wedding colors!! A friend brought her mother as her guest, her mother said that even though she didn’t know my spouse and I that by the end of the ceremony she felt like she knew us 🥰 Tasha

Best Officiant!!

Mary was a wonderful officiant on our special day back in may 2024!!! She was very responsive and showed up on time and helped us wrote a beautiful ceremony piece !!! She did an AWESOME job .

We had Mary officiate for our wedding in june 2024 and were blown away with her! She was so thorough with giving us all the information we needed right off the bat, always checked in on us to make sure we werent confused about anything at all and really took the time to get to know us which made our wedding ceremony that much more personal and special. We are still getting such compliments to this day on how beautiful our ceremony was. We had issues with our microphone from our dj during the ceremony and Mary made the best of it and just projected her voice to keep the ceremony moving smoothly , she really saved the day! We cannot say enough great things about her kindness, professionalism and creativity, I would highly recommend Mary for anyone needing an officiant for their wedding, she does not disappoint!
