Isaac looks after all things *tree* in our home. He always has
We always end up with the most peculiar looking Christmas Shrubbery... Which he dresses in the most colourful lights he can find and fills it with all of our memories gifted from or made by friends and family and also made by him and I.
I create designer trees for a living, but I wouldn't have our tree any other way than Isaac's way.
I took some time to decorate my own home with a lot of my son's help today. He had a lot of input! 😄
I have been making these lovely Holiday Fairytale terrariums. Isaac has morphed some into some Ghibli Winter Worlds. I love how his mind works.

I love the Cardinal Dogwood in these - they look like flames rising from the wild and textured greens beneath. I kept the aesthetic simple with strong architectural lines and not over the top *festive* to keep these planters looking nice and to prevent them from appearing tired by February.

An incredibly unlikely combination. I rarely work with flat chrysanthemum because my clients normally prefer other blooms. I had some freesia leftover from the wedding trade show, and some rosehips - made myself this unlikely piece, but it works!
I rather like the whimsy and warmth - a little bit of happy, and a last remnant of autumn on this snowy day...
