Evil Ernie Costume 2.0 -wip - been re- working and finishing this uncompleted costume I pulled out of storage. Initially started him backduring Covid as fun personal project to experiment with new techniques I would not try with my commission work. Found these pics of when I worked as a prop maker for the Stratford Festival . Those were formative years in my development as an artist , and I am eternally grateful for that opportunity . I had the pleasure of working with some the best professional Prop makers in the world and on this build I worked along side renowned theatre designer, Desmond Healey , who taught me alot about theatre art technique ,and our many conversations about life and art , while sipping on Teachers scotch wont be forgotten .These pics were some the sets I helped paint and dress. I worked on so many awesome projects at The Festival but unfortunately I did not have the foresight to take any pictures as I was so caught up in the moment being there ...
