🎨✨ Big news from The Painted Bean Gallery Café! ✨🎨

They've just launched their Kickstarter Start-Up Fundraiser and are sharing the story behind this incredible project.

TPB is working to create a vibrant space for artists and the community to connect, collaborate, and create. From rentable studios and ceramic workshops to a cozy café and retail gallery, their mission is to celebrate and support local artisans and the creative spirit of Newfoundland and Labrador.

We had so much fun singing in the holidays! Thank you to Deadly Cookies for making this event a little sweeter and thank you to everyone who came and sang their hearts out. This time of year can get very busy, but sometimes we need to pause, come together as a community and sing a few songs. Wishing you all the joys of the season! 🎅🎄🎹

It's December. There's snow. Louis and Scott are practising your favourite Christmas tunes. It's almost time for Sing In the Holidays with 62 Broadway! Join us tommorrow evening, Wednesday, December 4 at 7pm for a fabulous evening of song, laughter and community. Wear your most festive sweater, round up your friends and neighbours and come on out for our community singalong.

We had an amazing time at the Songwriting, Recording, & Performance Camp album release/listening party this past Friday! Every single participant blew us away with their talent, creativity, and hard work. One week until your can Sing In the Holidays with the gang at 62 Broadway. What are your favourite songs of the season? Let us know and we'll try our best to include them in the 62 Broadway community singalong 2024 song book. Everyone is welcome. No singing experience necessary. Just bring your cheerful self and any friends, neighbours and family. This is a time of year that can be lonely for people who are new to Corner Brook. Make space for kindness and new friendships. Everyone is welcome. For children under the age of 12, we ask that they be accompanied by an adult. We hope to see you next week!

We know it's Friday and we want you to have a fabulous weekend! It's also nice to have something to look forward to for next week...Indoor Lunch with 62 Broadway!

It's getting cooler so this is the perfect time for Indoor Lunch! Remember those days when the temperatures dropped, the snowsuits stayed hung outside the classroom, and everyone stayed inside for recess? Grab your lunch, settle in, we're having indoor lunch with some fabulous people. This new series is a free, virtual event for your lunchtime enjoyment. This is an opportunity to get to know people from the community, learn about the history of local cultural traditions and have a giggle or two to break up the day. We are so excited to launch this series with Corner Brook's CBC morning host, Bernice Hillier. We'll chat with Bernice over lunch about her favourite music, career in media and fondest inside recess memories.


The weekend is going to be great!! But, next Tuesday is going to be pretty fun as well. 😉🥪

We love music and we love bringing people together. Seems like a sing-along is the perfect fit! Join the 62 Broadway gang as we sing our favourite songs. No singing experience required! This is all about being together, finding small joys, enjoying cocoa and opening our hearts to kindness. Let's start the holiday season with a musical boost of positive energy. For every item purchased in the Artisan Shop and book corner between November 20th and December 20th, we'll donate a $1 to the local food bank. Make your shopping meaningful.
