Hello everyone.
As some of you know,
I haven't been quite as fast at answering my messages and get back to you all as punctual as usual. In full disclosure, we're going through a really big family tragedy and I want to be absolutely transparent!
In August of last year my dad got himself on a clean path of sobriety, under went a 5 way bypass, and has endured a very tough 5 months of recovery. on mu dad's last scan in Jubilee before going home, they found a nodule on his lung. They had to wait for him to heal enough to biopsy but other less invasive tests confirmed it was Cancer. They planned to surgically remove it when the risk of a pneumothorax wasnt so high, but by then there was another mass on his peri spinal column, and then in his groin. Fast forward to this past week where we found out that he has stage 4 metastatic lung cancer. Its not surgical anymore and is no longer curative. We go to Victoria next week to find out if he is healthy enough to recieve targeted radiation which they estimate could give him roughly 6 months on average.
I just got my dad back after addiction took him from us, and now I am losing him again and I'm just figuring out my new balance.
One thing I want to assure all my clients is that wethier it be a party, a celebration of life, or your special wedding day , every event that i am planning or coordinating for you are all of great importance to me and I will still be giving 110% to making sure it goes exactly as you dream it up! each and everyone of your important moments are also very important to me! I will still be fully present with you going forward and on your big days! I am however a little slower at communications lately, while grieving this new way way of life and I just ask for everyone's patience and want to say thank you for the understanding on any delays and that I cannot wait to see you all!! My job is my passion and is still of great priority!
Thanks everyone
