This weekend, the Sanctuary will host two sold-out performances as Joel Plaskett takes to the stage.

We are delighted to have him (officially) playing in the theatre. Joel has always been a massive supporter of and contributor to the arts in HRM. The Sanctuary has grown so quickly due in no small part to the flourishing music scene that he has helped build in Downtown Dartmouth.

While there may not be tickets left for this weekend, we urge you to spend some time enjoying Joel's music, and we DEFINITELY recommend picking up a copy of his latest album, "One Real Reveal."

Nowadays proudly presents DESTROYER live at the Sanctuary Arts Centre on October 30th.

Known for his critically acclaimed work with Destroyer and as a founding member of the New Pornographers, Bejar’s career spans over two decades of boundary-pushing music. 🎶 The McMillan’s Camp Boys: From the Rocky Mountains to Nova Scotia, this "Sanctuary favourite" folk and bluegrass duo brings timeless harmonies, deep-rooted influences from artists like The Stanley Brothers and Lightnin' Hopkins, and a passion for traditional country sounds.
