Meet Trish, our Warehouse Zone 2 Supervisor at Glow, who is coming up on her one year anniversary. Trish ensures our dishware and tableware are impeccably clean and super organized! She's drawn to Glow by the promise of a fun work environment and her interest in decor.

How long have you been working for Glow?
"1 year and loving it"

What initially drew you to join our team here at Glow?
"Sounded like a fun place to work and it is. My interest was mostly with decor, and I love working with lots of people."

Something you would like us to know.
"I've been a hairstylist for over 28 years; decided to make a total change in my life."

What's your go-to hobby or pastime outside of work?
"During the summer, I love being out in the sun at the beach, hiking, kayaking, or just taking a walk with my dog."

What's your favorite way to unwind after a long day?
"On my patio with a cold drink."

If you were hosting someone new to Halifax, where would you show them first?
"I would take them to our beautiful waterfront."

If you had the opportunity to switch careers, what profession/job would you pursue instead?
"I have thought many times of being a counsellor for couples or people struggling with their mental health."

What do you like most about working at Glow?
"Everyone here is really friendly and fun, and we work really well together. We have a lot of laughs."

What a week it’s been in Halifax! The Sail Grand Prix event was a huge success, and it’s something we can all take pride in. This was the first SailGP held on Canadian waters, and the reception was phenomenal. Fans packed the viewing areas on the waterfronts, and the energy and enthusiasm from the crowds were electric, making the high-speed races even more exhilarating!

The unseen hard work behind the scenes of so many made all the difference on the front end.

A huge shout out to all those who tackled the monumental task of managing SailGP's tech site, hospitality, security, and spectator experience. Our friends at Sports & Entertainment Atlantic truly delivered! Kudos to Chris Larsen, Angela Chisholm, Sharon Guthro, Chris Jamieson, Stephen Parker, and Anna-Maria Jachimowicz for their unwavering commitment.

A special thank you to our Glow Stars for their incredible efforts and dedication. Your hard work with the tent setup, infrastructure and fencing, and furniture for all the VIP and Media zones was crucial to making this event a success. As we wrap up the final removals today and dive into the clean-up and organization, let's take a moment to celebrate our collective effort.

It was also fantastic connecting with and supporting the teams at and ! A salute to all the teams and everyone leading and supporting the Sail Grand Prix. To lead these events all over the world is no easy feat!

This weekend proved, once again, that Halifax can host world-class events. We’ve shown that we can handle anything (even on short notice) and deliver outstanding results. SailGP, we hope to welcome you back to Halifax in 2025 and beyond… A big SailGPCan "Beaver Tap" to all! ;)

Even bringing in extra decor, like flooring, to help transform the space. They also were able to custom build some of the decor we wanted but they didn’t have in stock! Glow was honoured to help make this a stunning wedding!

The most spectacular Christmas wedding! I was thrilled to finally shoot Joe & Chanel's wedding after shooting the Proposal, their Engagement Party, Engagement shoot, Laylieh and finally their big wedding day! I'll have their full wedding edited by the weekend and look forward to sharing more!

I also look forward to sharing more of many of the weddings and family shoots I shot this past summer - I really didn't post much (again) this year. But I photographed so many wonderful people and look forward to sharing more of my work!
