We’re so excited to celebrate alongside all of the 2024 grads! 🎓 We’ve had a fun few days designing the boutonnières and corsages…we’ve been surrounded by the most delicate spray roses, mini cymbidium orchids, and dendrobium orchids 💐

Come June, and flowers bloom in abundance — showy blooms of peonies, garden roses, and alliums populate gardens, and bring pops of brightness to neighbourhoods.

Other species, like this collection of species native to Western North America and the Vancouver region, are more subtle, and worth looking for. Some of them might be found in unexpected places, like clusters of lupines alongside a highway, or self-heal, a small spiky purple flower seen only if you crouch on your hands and knees and look for it.

This Earth Day, we’re reflecting on the many low-waste practices we’re big fans of, like opting for a dry wrap instead of choosing single-use cellophane.

It’s tulip season 🌷Get the most out of your cut tulips by:

1. Giving them a fresh cut, on an angle, when you get home! Tulips will continue to grow even after they’re cut, so trimming them every couple of days will prolong their life.

2. Top up the vase with water when needed. Tulips drink a lot of water, so be sure the vase doesn’t run dry!

3. Arrange them in a taller vase with a skinnier opening if you don’t want your tulips to droop!
