The Christmas season has been very kind to us - great crowds, well organized events and lots of positive feedback! We finished three events this weekend and really enjoyed each one. Thank you to Kate for coming out and keeping Greg in line!

We are definitely starting the countdown to Xmas - and are thankful to the many couples, businesses and organizations who have booked us to cater at their special event. We so appreciate the support. And seeing all the great ideas to either fundraiser or gather and celebrate!

We have enjoyed the fall season with some weddings, fall dinners and a few meetings. We are just entering the Xmas season now. We are working on improving our food labeling and trying to be prepared for some of the dietary restrictions so many people seem to struggle with. Congratulations to the hard working group of organizers for the annual Prairie Christian Academy fundraising dinner. It is a well supported evening with so many great sponsors who donate toward the auction and talented bakers who host a dessert auction.

And the hard work of students and staff from PCA make the evening much more enjoyable for all attending! Students provide table service and clearing and their staff come out and ensure the coffee is ready and the dessert is set out. It is such a wonderful community effort.

Tane’s Catering is honoured to be asked to serve at this event. We look forward to it every fall! I didn’t take any photos but the choices and menu were very nice and lots of fun to prepare and serve.

This was a fun dinner to serve. Locally made fruit wine and flowers from a field operation were on every table. And it was fun to start with charcuterie boards!

We have been having a wonderful summer enjoying the many graduations, weddings, anniversaries and other unique events we have been serving at.

And I promise I am much better at managing meals than my social media 😩😩.

Clients who book with us have a wide variety of options to choose from when setting their menu. I have tried to include pictures here of some menu choices that are not ordered as often so you have an idea of what they would look like! All our ingredients are purchased fresh, we have designed several of the dishes ourselves and the sauces and salad dressings are mainly house made! We take pride in ensuring the meals we serve are unique and the service we provide is professional! Thank you again for all the support we have received - it is so very appreciated!

We had a very busy weekend with one of our favourite jobs - the Beiseker Fair! Always so well attended and perfectly organized. We partner with the Lions club and they do an amazing job on the beef. It is always nice to serve in communities where so many of the residents come out and participate and volunteer.

We finished the weekend serving at a reunion for the Carstairs gas plant. The history of the plant and the long standing friendships formed are definitely something to celebrate.

We were very pleased to be asked to serve a breakfast and lunch at a great conference aimed at rural women in business. The speakers and information provided was wonderful and we appreciated the support.

We have passed through the 2024 graduation season and are moving into the summer season with several weddings, family gatherings and workshops booked.

Graduation is a special time and we want to thank the Acme Grad class of 2024, the Beiseker Grad class of 2024 and the Crossfield Grad class of 2024 for having us serve at their celebration. It is an honor. And Tane’s Catering believes in donating back to the schools in the name of the graduating class. Our public education system works so very hard with difficult budgets and ever increasing demands!
