The outfit is complete! So happy to see the gloves and dress come together.

Fun fact: Lucia used to work as a glove maker for a company in kitchener. Came in handy for making these intricate gloves!

I am so excited to be working with dresses again. This is a long time client who has been with me for 4 years, it will be the 4th dress I've worked on for her, the 2nd made from scratch. I'm so delighted to work with her again!

I am excited to announce that Lucia Joanna's Studio will be open once again! The studio will be open for custom dressmaking as well as alterations at this time.
I look forward to working with more brides, mothers of brides/grooms, bridesmaids, and dancers once again! I missed it all!

Who has a birthday in June?? Turns out you have a gorgeous birth flower: the rose 🌹

I hope you are enjoying this beautiful weather we are having, the sunshine is always a mood brightener. Though post partum hormones are killing my summer vibe 🥵

We wanted to give you all a heads up: we are now located in Dunnville, hoping to open end of August! It seems so far away, but I want my Studio to be perfect, so that I can serve you better.

When it comes to custom clothing, we can make anything you would like! Including but not limited to: Wedding dresses, Bridesmaid dresses, Mother-of-the-bride dresses, flower girl dresses, Bolero's, Capes, Veil's, T-shirt, Children's clothing, Jackets and even jumpsuits/rompers.

This little guy is going to look dashing next to his matching sisters this Saturday! I had the privilege of making the wedding dress and the brides grand children's outfits!

Unfortunately this will be my last client for a while, Lucia Joanna's Studio will be closing indefinitely. The plan is that when the kids go off to school we start up again, we shall see where life is at that point ❤

This decision was hard to come by. After many long discussions with my husband, we agreed that this was best for me and the family. I am looking forward to taking a step back and being able to spend more time with the kids. But I will also miss creating the beautiful dresses that I have built my brand on, and the clients that worked along side myself to make their dreams come true.

Thank you to all my lovely clients, it was such a pleasure working with you. Some outfits clicked like that, others took a while to fit and figure out. But everyone was always patient and gracious and I so appreciate that. Especially in the past few years working around kids and nap schedules!

I hope to post a couple more pictures of this wedding when I recieve the professional shots back. And that will be my farewell. Thank you to all who helped spread my name as well. It was much appreciated ❤
