We are volunteers reaching out in kind to collect a growing number of care packages each winter for Edmonton’s houseless community members.

With your donations and support, we were able to provide 500 drawstring knapsacks with hygiene kits, snacks, gloves, socks, and juice for Warmth 2 Go 2024. On the event day, pizza, snacks, soda and warm winter wear were given to our community.

Thanks to the Warmth 2 Go team, Angie Staines, the 4B Harm Reduction Society and the numerous volunteers.

For the past three weeks, the Warmth 2 Go team has been collecting donations and packing the 500 backpack care packages filled with gloves, socks, snacks, toiletries, etc., ready for February 5th. Our partner 4B will grow our event from last year, from care package distribution and coffee to a pop-up, including not only the distribution of care packages but also clothing donations, a hot lunch and wound care for Edmonton’s most vulnerable.
We want to thank Angie, 4B, Hazeldean Elementary, Allendale Junior High, and all our tireless volunteers and donors who wish to remain anonymous. We couldn’t have done it without you.

Today Warmth 2 Go is launching our community call to help us exceed last year’s goal and provide over 400 care packages to be delivered to Edmonton’s houseless vulnerable community members on Sunday, February 5, 2023.
