Happy Birthday to the one and only, Suzanne!

Last month was also her 10 year anniversary with JBW / JBE, so I’ll take this opportunity to recognize that incredible milestone as well.

Her first day on the job she was tying satin chair covers (there’s a throwback for you veterans in the industry!), and today she’s producing complex events, managing large budgets, and leading a team of coordinators.

I’m so grateful for Suzanne’s work ethic, loyalty, kindness and friendship. Happy Birthday AND Happy Anniversary, Suzanne! You are so very loved and valued. 🤍🤍🤍

Tent weddings are a bit of a beast from a planning and logistics perspective, but the end result is oh so magical ✨

Including rectangle tables in your floor plan not only provides visual interest, but it can be a cost-saver!

See how little space there is between chargers on a rectangle table? An assortment of candles and florals with very small footprints is all you need for a beautiful result.

If you want more width, rent wider tables (ie. wooden harvest tables are usually 40”+), or use two banquet tables together to make a 5’ wide table (“double wide”). This offers more room for decor, and is especially important for family style meal service which requires extra space for platters.

Part 2 - Just 3 weeks out from their wedding date, Maddi + Fil’s venue closed down… but some things just aren’t meant to be, because boy did it turn into the most fun, dreamy and simply perfect wedding!

With a little…ahem…ok a LOT of extra planning, we created our own venue, with a few tents and a stellar group of flexible vendors.

We’re really proud of how this wedding weekend came together for two amazing people with the most wonderful families. 🤍
