We thought we would take this time to re-introduce ourselves:
Hi, we're Best Buds Flower Company! We got our name from our start as a business run by two best friends, both named Rhonda. A few years after that we were taken over by our current store owner, Kimberly, and about 15 years after that we moved into our current location, the Lavender house.
As the leaves on the elm trees lining 121st Street start to turn yellow and our evenings turn cooler, our minds turn to autumn and creating this inviting indoor space. Our little Lavender House, nestled into this block just off the main road, has been our place for the last three years, but we have been in Oliver for close to twenty years now. Our house has become a home to not just us, but the house finches that have taken up residence in our planters and caragana bushes and the occasional neighbourhood cat.
Autumn is an especially lovely time for flowers, with the last bright blooms of fall turning to crisp reds and sepia tones. Come visit the Lavender House this fall for a touch of coziness on a cool day.
TL/DR: Come visit the Lavender House - it's super cute! #yeglavenderhouse #yeg #780 #shoplocalyeg #supportsmallbusinessyeg #womanledbusiness
