A few weeks ago, Monikah and I had the absolute pleasure of capturing Carla and Fraser’s breathtaking wedding. It was even more special because years ago, Zac attended NAIT with Fraser, and to hear that he's been a fan of our work ever since? Truly heartwarming. 💫
The wedding took place just outside Edmonton at the stunning @pineandpondvenue, a perfect all-in-one spot for a magical day. Fraser, proudly celebrating his Scottish roots, wore a traditional kilt alongside his groomsmen, while Carla and her bridal party looked radiant, incorporating Gaelic styles into their outfits. The warm August sun shone down on a ceremony set against a backdrop of florals and a tranquil pond, where a bagpiper played as Fraser walked the aisle. They even had fairies instead of flower girls! 🧚♀️
After the ceremony, we captured some beautiful moments with family, friends, and of course, Carla and Fraser. A highlight? Fraser's epic sword—Aragorn’s Andúril! It paired perfectly with his Scottish attire. ⚔️
The evening continued with heartfelt speeches, incredible food, and plenty of dancing. One special moment was when the couple drank from a Quaich Cup, toasting with Johnnie Walker passed down from Fraser’s grandfather. 🥃
