This past Saturday, we had the joy of catering Cheyanne and DJ’s beautiful wedding at the Enjoy Centre. It had been a long time coming, and when the day finally arrived, it was everything they hoped for - 300 guests gathered to celebrate love, family, and good food.

The evening began with trays of meats and cheeses for cocktail hour, followed by a comforting, homemade meal: hand-carved roast beef with mashed potatoes and gravy, roasted chicken, marinara pasta, buttery perogies with onions, fresh veggies, and a spread of salads: Caesar, broccoli, Mediterranean, and Greek. For dessert, we served homemade baking and fruit trays.

The compliments we received that night were deeply touching, but one from the bride’s father will stay with me for a long time, words that filled me with gratitude and reminded me why I love what I do.

Most of all, I’m thankful for my amazing team. They worked long hours with so much heart, and I couldn’t have done it without them. As I told more than a few guests that night, “It’s not me doing this, I have a fantastic team of workers!”

It was a beautiful night that reminds you how special it is to be part of someone’s story.

This past weekend I travelled out to Boyle to cater a Celebration of Life for an extended family member. It was an honour to be able to do this for them, and I’m so glad everything turned out beautifully.

We served a comforting and simple spread of fresh sandwiches and wraps, cheese and pickles, fruit platters, and homemade desserts, all made with care and love.

It meant a lot to see how happy the family was, and I’m grateful I could help make the day a little easier during such an important gathering.

This weekend we prepared a smaller Thanksgiving order for a lovely couple who wanted to enjoy a full turkey dinner without all the cooking. They picked it up ready to heat and serve at home and enjoyed a feast of turkey, mashed potatoes and gravy, meatballs with gravy, homemade cabbage rolls, and a few fresh salads.

I followed up afterward to see how everything went, and here’s what she had to say:

“Our Thanksgiving dinner was a huge success! Everyone was impressed with how homemade all the food tasted; it was thoroughly enjoyed. It was great we were able to pick it up on Sunday and heat it up at home. Thank you!”

So glad they enjoyed it - that’s what it’s all about! Homemade food made with care, ready to enjoy with the people you love.

This past week we had the pleasure of providing three lunch deliveries for Modern X Beauty School, and what a delicious week it was!

DAY 1 kicked off with our Taco Bar, filled with all the fresh toppings and flavors everyone loves.
DAY 2 featured our Homemade Burger Bar, always a crowd-pleaser.
DAY 3 wrapped up with a Donair Bar, made with our own homemade donair meat.

There were lots of happy faces and full stomachs all week long. We love seeing our customers enjoy homemade meals made with care!
