Next month Old Strathcona Performing Arts Centre On the weekend of September 27 if you are in the greater Edmonton area there is an event you won't want to miss.

OSPAC.ca Open House: Songs & Stories of Edmonton will celebrate the diverse musical landscape of Edmonton through an engaging educational experience that teaches and preserves history, creates community and sparks interest in Edmontonians to know their past.

With the work I do as a documentarian I try to share local stories that are unknown yet so crucial to the development of our vibrant arts scene. As the producer of the Hip-Hop night, which will be hosted by Bobby T, I hope to help strengthen the pride of Edmonton's Hip-Hop community so we realize the potential we have to create a world class scene here in YEG.

Huge shout out to John Armstrong for putting this all together, OSPAC for facilitating it and the Edmonton Arts Council's Connections & Exchanges Initiative for funding it.

Stay tuned for more exciting details of what to expect for the Hip-Hop night.

This Sunday afternoon, come on by for the Edmonton Philharmonic Orchestra`s Celebration of Youth !

The Edmonton Philharmonic Orchestra invites you to join us for a concert featuring three talented young solo musicians. Join us on Sunday, May 26 at the Old Strathcona Performing Arts Centre (OSPAC) at 2:00 PM (doors will open at 1:45). Concert admission is by donation, which will allow us to keep making music to share with our community.

We hope to see you in the audience!
