CJ & Chelsea had the most epic, Lord of the Rings themed wedding at The Malcolm Hotel in Canmore last month. Having grown up with Lord of the Rings and been (somewhat) obsessed with the movies, it was beyond exciting and inspiring to film their event. To top it off, they chose a venue in the Rocky Mountains, which made the wedding that much more evocative of the realm of Middle Earth.

This beautiful couple booked me to film their wedding last year, but sadly had to cancel their event. It was an unexpected and lovely surprise when they reached out to me and asked me if I could photograph their pregnancy announcement in February and their maternity session this past weekend! I took them out to Devon Voyageur Park at golden hour on Sunday evening for a boho inspired shoot. I love the look we achieved and it was so much fun spending time with them, they are going to be the most amazing parents!

A sneak peek into the magical wedding of Guinevere and Matthew at the Alchemy Bar in downtown Edmonton. This was the perfect venue for their intimate wedding, with incredible attention to detail in the unique decor. It was rather windy for an outside ceremony, but it just made Guinevere's huge veil look that much more spectacular!
