A little more about our move 🤍🌿

We’ve been so happy with all the messages, questions and support since sharing our news. We’re so excited for this next chapter!
Here are the important details:

🌿 We’re not closing! We’re relocating to a new studio-style florist right here in Elora.

🌿 Our current storefront will close at the end of this year (exact date TBA — likely November or December).

🌿 We’ll continue serving Centre Wellington with deliveries and flowers for all of your special occasions.

🌿 The biggest change: We won’t have a traditional storefront or regular walk-in hours. Flowers will be available by pre-order, with pickups available by appointment.

🌿 For pickups, we’ll need 2–3 days
notice so we can arrange a time that works with our studio schedule.

🌿 We’ll always do our best to accommodate same-day delivery requests when we can, but we won’t be able to guarantee

We’re so excited for this change and for what it will allow us to create. More flexibility, more focus on the flowers, and a beautiful new space to work from — all while continuing to serve the community we love. 🤍
Thank you for coming along with us into this next chapter! 🌿

✨ A new chapter is blooming. ✨

After 53 incredible years, we’re turning the page.

At the end of this year, Drimmie Florist will be closing our storefront at 95 Metcalfe St. and transitioning to a studio-style Florist in January 2027.

We are so excited about this new chapter. Our studio will allow us to focus on what we love most—creating beautiful, meaningful flowers while continuing to serve our amazing community.

Although our storefront is closing, everything you know & love about Drimmie Florist will remain the same. We’ll continue creating flowers for weddings, everyday occasions, sympathy, celebrations, and all of life’s meaningful moments, with the same care and personal service we’ve proudly offered for 53 years.

The biggest change? We will no longer offer walk-in shopping. Beginning in January we’ll be accepting online and phone orders only, making it easy for you to continue ordering flowers for every occasion.

To every customer who has walked through our doors over the past five decades—thank you. Your support, kindness, and loyalty have meant the world to our family, and we’re so grateful you’ve been part of our story.

Our roots remain the same. We’re simply growing in a new direction. 🌿

With love,
Anna & the Drimmie Florist family 🤍

Hi, I’m Anna 🩷 The face behind Drimmie Florist.

My story with flowers started before I even knew what a flower was… because I was basically born at the flower shop 🌷

My very first Valentine’s Day, I was less than a month old — hanging out in a bassinet at the front counter while my mom designed bouquets. She’d let customers hold me while she created their flowers.

Some of my favourite childhood memories are from the shop — playing, experimenting with scrap flowers, and sleeping under the front counter when I was “home sick” from school. The best part? That same counter is still here today.

In 2015, I took over Drimmie Florist from my parents, continuing the family business they started in 1973. After 50+ years in Elora, I’m so proud to carry on the story they began.

A few things about me 🤍
🌿 My style: garden-inspired, natural & full of texture
🌸 My favourites: magnolia, gardenia, freesia & peonies
💍 I met my husband in 2019 — basically a Hallmark movie waiting to happen… local florist meets British pastry chef in Elora, just as he was planning to move back to England. (Still waiting for my movie deal, Hallmark 😉)
Three months later, we were engaged… & four years later, we had our little Valentine’s baby — born February 13th (which any florist knows IS the busiest day of the year 🌹)

When I’m not surrounded by flowers, I’m dreaming up what’s next for Drimmie Florist… and we have some BIG NEWS coming soon.

Thank you for being part of our story♥️
