Freedom Day 2024 was a great success however we are currently 3000$ short on our event’s closing cost. The funds raised will be given directly to Residential School Survivors as honouriarms. Each year we reachout to each every First Nation community in Mi'kma'ki or all Atlantic Provinces. We've only made contact with Sipekne'katik First Nation, Pictou First Nations, Afton, Whycocomagh First Nations Lennox Island First Nations, Eskasoni, Membertou, St Mary's, and Tobique. Each year we aim to include all Indigenous Survivors that would had been affected by the Shubenacadie Residential School site. Although, a survivors are stating how they are having a hard time to find our event or my page. Elders asking why their leaders are not letting them know to be able to take part in the Freedom Day event meant for them. Let's help these elders
