A bit more progress tonight on the Cogs & Clockwork - Fergus Steampunk Festival teapot racer. Shout out to Andy Moses of the Hamilton Splendid Teapot Racing association for having me work on this racer. Be sure to see the completed racer this September. Bring your racer to Cogs to win some fun prizes.

Managed to get the wood floor on what will be the observatory as well as getting the yard started with the front stairs on and the back yard deck drying. Also started making some of the stained glass windows which will be in the main body of the teapot racer.

Thoughts on the embossed postcards?
There are two opposing opinions in on these, some people find them slightly harder to read and therefore less effective while others feel that they feel good in your hand and therefore are more likely to be engaged with.

We are busy working behind the scenes getting ready for September. This year Cogs & Clockwork - Fergus Steampunk Festival will be introducing our Shopping Passport which will give our guests 10% off at participating stores in Downtown Fergus. This festival Passport will be useable on Friday September 5th and Sunday September 7th and will be available on our website for guests to print before they come into town for the festival.
So if you have your Steam Powered Giraffe tickets and were thinking about staying in town, we have more reasons to spend time downtown.

Cogs & Clockwork - Fergus Steampunk Festival has sponsored a Teapot Racer which you can use during the Hamilton Splendid Teapot Racing association races who will be at various steampunk events including ours this September 6th.
