👋🏻 it’s me.
Crawling out from under pillow mountain (if you think I’m kidding try getting through the door of my office) to chat with you about wreath and planter orders.
I know.
I know.
No one wants to talk about it or even think about it.
Except me. It’s my joy, livelihood and the reason my hands bleed (literally)

As always I’ll be restocking Simply Eclectic with fresh wreaths and planters all throughout November.

I create every planter differently, there is no assembly line over here. Each is one of a kind with local greenery from my families farm. I also add ordered, foraged, thrifted and handcrafted touches of birch slices, spindles, faux fruit, pinecones, magnolia and other foliage. Plus whatever else I can dream up.

Sap bucket planters are $70 or 2 for $130. If you’d like to place an order ahead of time for pickup at the barn (Marysville) or here (Frankford) please send me a message. As always I appreciate your support!

Just to give you a little taste of what is headed to .eclectic Nov 1.
Tons of red grainsack stripe, plaid and wool backs.

And then there are the hand cross stitched pillows.
I won’t even say how many hours goes into some of these designs let alone if I make a mistake and rip out a bunch of it.
Quantities of the hand stitched will be limited so if you are lucky enough to snag one know that a lot of love, patience and possibly some swearing, went into making yours.

Come join us in the She Shed for some Christmas wreath making!

We will provide all the supplies needed and guide you through how to make your own custom fresh greenery wreath.

We will have loads of fresh local greenery to choose from.
Choose from accents to make each wreath custom to what you like, including pinecones, wood and orange slices, ribbon etc!

Light snacks and refreshments also included.

$90 per person

Limited spaces available for each session
(10 spots)

Thursday November 16th at 6:30pm
or
Saturday November 18th at 2:00pm

Simply Eclectic is a beautiful barn with beautiful views inside and out! Outside you can stroll through our gardens for fresh greenery arrangements and outdoor decor as well as take a peak in our new greenhouse. Indoors is filled with giftware, antiques, textiles and dishes that Diana hunts far and wide for. Rachel from Vintage & Bloem will also be joining us again this year with vintage european grainsack striped and hand cross-stitched designs on linen pillows. We have everything to make your home cozy for the holidays and finish your gift list including coveted Hudson’s bay blanket pillows, felt mice ornaments, picks and fresh magnolia leaves for your DIY planters & more. Many of our popular items will be restocked weekly! A short distance from the Marysville exit, watch for the sign at the end of our kilometre long driveway. Don’t forget to dress warmly & bring a friend! We are thrilled to be on the Country Christmas Gathering tour again this year. Open November 1-5, 8-12, 18-19 & 25&26 Open from 10-5. Cash only please.

It’s been the craziest few weeks.
We went from +18 degrees in the beginning of November to almost that much in inches of snow a few weeks later. (I’m sorry, are we Alberta?!?) Anyone who knows and works weather dependant can relate!

These past few weeks have been amazing!
I wish I could show you a photo of some new pillows I made but I’ve been swamped with custom orders and wreaths this week!
I did carve out some time make up a few red stripe ones though! eclectic is open tomorrow and the next 2 weekends in November. Also don’t forget to check out Home for her Christmas goods and her handpicked stock of our pillows!
I will be back at the barn next Saturday for a restock after a busy week running around filling planters around the quinte area!
